The tall and beautiful buildings crowd the large island off the coast of the Reach. The Arbor attracts many people from all over Westeros, the Free Cities and beyond.

Luke Redwyne stood on the bow of the ship, watching as the anscestral home he had been to small to remember, grew as the Grapevine moved closer to the port.
He was wondering how his cousins would greet him, but he was not only here to be with his family, there was business to attend to also.

When Luke stepped down from his ship onto the dock, he was greeted by a young man with sandy blonde hair and hard grey-green eyes. The man wore a blue and white surcoat, with a purple cloak draped over one shoulder, clasped by a bushel of grapes brooch.
The man approached him, "is this my cousin Luke returned at last?"

"I see that the letter I sent arrived at least. I am sorry, but I do not know your name."
He gave a slight bow.
"My father didn't want me to return here, because of the falling out all those years ago, but I had to see if the place is as beautiful as my mother said it were"

"Ser Paxter Redwyne, Lord Foster's third son. It is good you returned, there should not be strife within our family."
"There is nowhere so beautiful as the Arbor, Luke, you will soon see that for yourself. From the bright blue sea that protects it to the vivid green vineyards that sustain it, this island is as strong as it is serene."

"No, I hope that the problem that our fathers had lies in the past, and that can begin anew."
He looked around and agreed with his cousin. It was a very beautiful place, though he wasn't sure he agreed that there weren't a place more beautiful.
"I wish to see a little more of these vineyards before we head to speak with my uncle, whom I guess wants to see me as well"

Ser Paxter nodded, "he does indeed. Very well, let us go then."
He lead Luke down the docks to where a servant was holding several horses. Ser Paxter mounted the lean, grey courser, and motioned for Luke to take the brown horse.
As they trotted out of the port town, Paxter turns to Luke, "tell me of the Free Cities, I have never been."

"What do you want to know? I guess it's pretty much like any place, though a bit more exotic from what I can see. This place reminds me a lot of Volantis if the truth be told. You might be able to return there with me when I journey back there in a few weeks or months, depending on how this place treats me" he said the last with a smile.

Ser Paxter raised an eyebrow at his cousin and "hmm"-ed.
"I have never heard of someone refer to the land they grew up in as exotic," he said simply in reply.

Ser Betram, the elderly castellan of the Arbor castle under Lord Peyton Redwyne, moved in swishing robes behind Ser Paxter.

"Well, I grew up in a far away place, looking very different then most of those I grew up with, so they probably though I was exotic too. It depends on where you are, I guess."
He paused a moment, as to gather his thoughts.
"How was growing up here?"

"I could not have asked for more growing up here, Luke. I was taught to sail by my grandfather, none other than the legendary Lord Peyton. I learned much from him."
"Forgive my lack of manners," Paxter said, then he gestured to the man behind them. "This is Ser Bertram, he is an old and true friend to our house. Ser Bertram, do you recall Luke from his infancy before his father left with him?"

"I do Ser. I was very well acquainted with his father. And how fares Ser Barris Master Luke?"

"Nice to meet you, Ser Bertram. It's been some time since I was able to visit my father and mother, but last I saw him, everything seemed fine. Myr has had a good influence on him I think."
He studied the surroundings as they rode, taking mental notes of things that he was to report back to Alaario.
"Did you know my father when he was young, Ser Bertram?"
