The greatest castle in the North, Winterfell was the home of the Lords Paramount but since House Stark's decline it passed to the stewardship of Lord Manderley, who turned it into a sept.

Benjen Blackfyre arrived with Leilanna. This time Benjen was more on his guard and he asked the guards to be presented to the septon in charge.

There is a small, and weary line of pilgrims headed into the sept. There are no "guards" to speak of, but a number of brown brothers are helping to organize the line. One of them may be able to point Benjen in the right direction.

"Greetings, brother," said Benjen to the nearest septon when he and Leilanna got to the front of the queue. "We seek a bed for the night and would consult with one of the senior septons here if we may."

The brother nods, and tugged at the small silver hammer around his neck, "May I ask what the matter concerns to help guide you in the right direction?"

"I've been here for six months, but I can tell you we have no newborn children," The brother says, shaking his head, "Why are you asking? Did your woman abandon him or something?" He says, glaring at Leilanna balefully.

"No," said Benjen. "Of course not. The child would not be newborn now. I speak of twenty years past. Perhaps you have a septon - perhaps even a septa? - here who is twenty years of age and was brought here as a young child, to be raised by the Faith?"

The Brown brother shook his head, "I don't know, I don't think so. You should speak to Septon Timon. He has been here the longest, He would known."

Benjen smiled warmly at the brother.
"Thank you. May we do so now? If our visit should prove...fruitful, I am sure a donation can be made to the good works that are done here."

The man nodded, and gave directions to the other brother's room.

The door was opened by an older man who studied Benjen for a moment. "May I help you son?"

"Greetings, Father. Are you Septon Timon?" Benjen asked.

"I am indeed, how may I serve you my lord." He studied the other man with a curious expression.
