With Lord Rhodri returning to the Vale, Lord Jon Royce will remain in King's Landing as the representative voice for his cousin in the halls of the Red Keep. To that end, Lord Jon oversees the construction of a tall, sturdy home on a hilly bluff in the city; learning the lessons from the destruction of the House of Runes, it is built of stone with crenelations and guard towers.
While construction is due to take a while, Lord Jon can be found here when needed. The Bronzehall, so-called due to the massive bronze doors reminiscent of Runestone, is run by Rhodri's longtime aid, Garth Buckler.

A messenger arrives at Bronzehall with a message for Lord Jon Royce.
With Lord Velaryon being moved to a different post, and Lord Jon's expressed interest to remain in the city, the Small Council invites Lord Royce to resume his duties as the Commander of the City Watch.

Garth Buckler, Steward of Bronzehall, greets the Master of Laws at the great bronze gates. The patina is already starting to oxidize, taking on a greenish patina. "Greetings, mi'lord. You are looking for Lord Jon? He is here. Follow me."
Garth leads Lord Tallahar through the high walled halls of Bronzegate. The Tyrell lord, a warrior born, can't help but notice that this home is built more like a castle, with arrow slits and murderholes around the entry foyer.
He is led into the great hall, with high beamed ceilings, a roaring hearth, and pelts for rugs. Long wooden benches are ready to greet guests, and there are horns on the wall and a barrel of ale ready for drinking.
"Make yourself comfortable, I'll fetch the lord."

"Very funny Jon but no, The position of Lord Commander of the Gold Cloaks has become open again and as I am the Master of Laws I saw it as my job to see that I ask you personally. So do you want the job back. Also isn't it said that you betrothed is married."

"Excellent. If that is all I will be leaving." Tallahar holds out his hand to be shaken.

Bronzehall is quiet and largely empty with Jon Royce dispatched back to the Vale. Rhodri arrives to stay here for the duration of his stay in King's Landing. He greets Garth Buckler, his old steward at Storm's End, and relaxes in the Great Hall. At some point he'll get around to calling on Piers Bettley, but he's in no hurry.

A raven arrives at the Red Keep from the Bloody Gate. The maesters make sure the message finds it's way to Bronzehall.
Lord Arryn,
The levies you called have begun to arrive at the Bloody Gate. I had intended to use them to ensure that no clans fill the vacuum of power left by the Moon Brothers. But with this business being prepetrated in the Reach, I will be sure to maintain sufficient strength collected at the Gate in the event you should require us.
Yours in service, Ser Roland Royce
