The largest city in the Vale and one of the largest in Westeros, Gulltown is the most important port in the Vale, where much of the business of the Lords of the Vale is conducted. Lord Grafton rules the city from his castle, which rises up on a hill over the rest of the city. The docks have been newly constructed and improved in recent years, after being razed by King Rodrick III in 546.

He nodded, "Of course my Queen." He turned and began to very slowly hobble through the halls of the keep. He would stop frequently for rest, before leading the way again.

Rhaenys and her entourage quietly followed Ser Leonys. The queen was worried about the man and hoped she was tiring him too badly.
"Ser, are you quite well? I would not wish to put you to more trouble than is necessary," she said.

Ser Mearn studied his surroundings carefully as they moved further into the castle. He wasn't to comfortable being somewhere he did not know by memory, should there be an attempt on the Queen's life, he only had one escape route; the same way they had come.

Leonys nodded, "I am fine. When we retook the Gates, I was crushed under a boulder flung from a catapult. I should be dead and some how I live. So I will always be fine."
