"Your Grace, I didn't say I don't have understanding." She shook her head "I'm simply not sure that Dawnrose will have the same amount of understanding. He might read it as if you are thinking the Mander is less important then, lets say the Far Reach, considering the fact that Oswell Tully will be present."

"Lord Dawnrose was in the Mander when I was able to leave Kings Landing. It was not possible for him to join me. Lord Tully, however, was free."

"Be that as it may, I'm not sure he will be happy." She said "I shall leave now if I may."

"No," said Rhaenys. "Stay as my guest. It may be that you can be of use to me yet. Write Lord Dawnrose, explaining the position to him. Tell him that I am pleased to know there is someone loyal to me outside of the Mander who can act on my bbehalf if the need arises."

Margeary nodded "I will do as you say, Your Grace." She looked down and then looked back at Rhaenys "My Queen, there is also another matter, though this one is important to my family more than the rest of Westeros. I hope you will understand me not only as a queen, but as another woman."

Rhaenys looked interested. It was rare that women appealed to her so she wsa eager to hear what the Merryweather girl had to say.

The Iron Fleet anchors offshore from Gulltown, and Ragnor's ship is the only one to land at the port to see off Armand Royce.
"You can rally the Vale's men, you think?" Ragnor asks him.

"I have heard conflicting rumors, I will not know for sure until I reach the armies. I will travel to the Bloody Gate in haste, gathering the men that I can on the way. The letter that I read claimed that my brother renounced all of our House's claims to the Vale, but he has not the legal right to renounce my blood claim to anything, if the letter was even true. Perhaps not all will follow me, but some will," Armand said truthfully.

"Good. I'm sending a man with you, you've met Raef." Ragnor tells Armand, jerking a thumb at the Ironman now walking up behind him. He carries a crown of bronze, which he passes to Armand.
"Suppose your brother in captivity makes you the king regent, eh?" Ragnor asks.

"I imagine so," Royce said dryly. "I will go to the bloody gate immediately. Where will you sail from Gulltown?" he asked.

"South." Ragnor replies. "Can't say exactly. Likely stop somewhere in Dorne for Martell."
