Meanwhile, Obara Ladybright signalled to the Martell princesses.
"We'll follow them inside so Her Grace can perform the introductions, my ladies," she said.
She lowered her voice to a whisepr.
"What do you think of Velaryon then?"

"I am eager to show Driftmark to you Your Grace. Aegon is here as well, newly arrived from Kings Landing."
Aurane noticed one of the Queen's ladies signalling to other ladies in the party, as the Queen took his arm.
He didn't know who they were, but he gave them a broad smile before seeing the Queen to her horse for the short journey to Driftmark Castle. The other men in Lord Velaryon's party assisted the other ladies to their steeds, before they all moved off.

"I shall be pleased to see Aegon again," said Rhaenys. "It is to be hoped that we can arrange matters to our mutual satisfaction."
She looked at Lord Velaryon and indicated the women close by
"See those ladies there? That's Obara Ladybright, my dearest companion. With her are the Princess of Dorne, Aurora Martell, and her sister Ariadne. They make a pretty picture, don't they?

Ariadne gave the lord a smile. "Pleased to meet you."

"Enchanting." replied Lord Velaryon sincerely.
"I had not realised that I was in such illustrious company."
He gave a short bow to the Princess of Dorne and then to her sister . "Princess Aurora, you are most welcome. As is your fair sister, Lady Ariadne." His eyes lingered appreciatively on them both.
"And let me not forget you Lady Obara. A friend and companion of the Queen I would also call friend."
He beckoned towards the castle.
"Come, Your Grace...my ladies...let us repair to Driftmark's Castle, where my servants shall see you to your quarters. There will be a feast tonight in your honor in the Great Hall. Your Grace will of course occupy the place of Honor.

Princess Aurora smiled at her host. "A pleasure."
Milo Bettley's hand twitched as he watched Lord Velaryon study his wife. A small snarl played across his lips.

"You are very kind," Rahenys told Lord Velaryon.
She shot a worried glance at Milo.
"Easy, Milo, your wife is safe from Lord Velaryon's interest. He cannot wed a married woman. Surely Arianen told you that his interest will be in her sister?"

Milo replied, "If he looks at my wife like that again, I will cut off his cock." He looked at the Queen and smiled, "Do not worry, I will not kill him."

She gave him an odd look.
"Would you make eunuchs out of every man who looked at your wife thus?"

Milo shrugged, "Not every man. But him yes, and there is no need to do it in front of me." He turned his gaze to her, "I restrain myself around your husband as well, your grace." He chuckled lightly.

She gave him another look, this one curious.
"Do you? I'm surprised that you need to, with such a wife.. Besides,. you and I are not for the likes of one another, as you should know."

Milo laughed, "Of course, your grace, but the answer to both of your questions is the same. It is a difficult task to not look a beautiful woman."

"Maybe so but I desire to make Aurora my friend, so let's not make her jealous," she said.

Mil chuckled, "I do not admire you when my wife is about. Or at least I am a lot more subtle. There is no reason to be rude." He chuckled, "Of course she does. She likes to get my blood boiling the little minx."

"Better that than a cold fish," Rhaenys said, laughing to hide her worries as she said the words.
She feared that was what Selwyn had become and it frightened her.
"I am sure the two of you will have a long and passionate life together."
