"Thank you, my lord," Jeyne said graciously, giving Tallahar a smile. "I have heard of Lady Haley's generous spirit, and your offer is kind. Maesters and food are unnecessary, but I fear that in such a rough neighborhood, guards are required. Pisswater Bend is a better street than most in Flea Bottom, but it is still rather dangerous. I would appreciate your guards around the house. You are a kind man, my lord."

"No I am not. I am loud and arrogant warrior who has fought to many battles. I do this all for my late wife. I shall send out the order after this, 100 men shall be on call at all times with 20 guarding the hospice it's self."

"Lady Haley would be proud of you, I'm sure," Jeyne said softly. "Thank you, my lord. Those numbers are generous, and should ensure that the house and its inhabitants are safe. Please feel free to visit it some time. I go almost everyday."

"I will see what I can do but running the Mander and now the added pressure of Master of Laws is a lot for this old warrior. Do you believe that my wife is watching me with the gods Your Grace?"

"I am sure she is, my lord," Jeyne said. "Her blessings are there on your son, Ser William, who is already becoming a knight of renown, and your star is ascending again. When a virtuous woman dies, she joins the gods. I am sure Haley is watching over you now."

Tallahar nods, "Your words are very kind Your Grace." There is a large sigh released from the Dawn Raider. "Well I must organize the guard for the Hospice. By your leave Your Grace." Tallahar stands and leaves the Queens Chambers.

Olander comes to call on the Queen Jeyne. He bears no weapons, nor even the bronze daggers the crannogmen are wont to wear. The tiny man forgoes armor as well, dressed in a simple yet finely made heavy woolen coat and long linen breeches, dyed in his familiar grey-green and black.

Jeyne received him in her audience chamber. On the mantlepiece, tinkling music was emanating from a litle jade frog with bronze scrollwork.
A red cloak took him to the chamber. "Olander Reed of Greywater Watch, Your Grace," he said.
"Lord Olander," Jeyne said, with a smile. "Please do come in and sit down."

The tiny crannogman did as he was bid, his moss colored eyes looking intently to the newly wed Queen. "Your Grace," he said, sketching a bow before he sat, "I'm pleased to see you're enjoying my frogs."

"They are lovely, and very popular with my ladies," Jeyne said lightly. "I suspect that Lady Osha was the one who was responsible for them, my lord?" She arched an eyebrow, smiling.

"My wife remembered the music box during a trip to White Harbor in her maidenhood, and the perfume is one of her favorites. The wooden curiosity was of my design; toys like it are oft enjoyed by children in the Neck. I thought you might find it amusing yourself, and your children as well someday."

"It is certainly diverting," Jeyne said. "But have you visited me today to talk of your lovely present, my lord?"

Olander adopted a pleasant smile, his eyes flickering. "What can you tell me of Lady Sara's Hospice? I pray things are progressing well?"

"I was very pleased at your donation," Jeyne said. "It will do great good for the hospice's wards, and I am very grateful." As a maid poured wine for them, Jeyne talked about the orphans and the daily patients. "The grey brothers are excellent," she said. "They have to treat a lot of wounds, some of those vicious street fights are shocking in their ferocity. Your donations help them buy food and medicine and other supplies. And soon I plan to expand the premises and make it bigger." She smiled happily.

He gave a closed eye nod. "It had always been my will to strengthen the realm, and with places such as these, Your Grace and the King will surely strength the love of the commons. And as each lord knows, his lands are only as strong as the men working in it."
