"No, your grace, I have never been to Castamere. I'm rather fond of the song about it, but that is the most of my experience," he said with a grin."As are we," Axel laughed, "no song so sweet in the halls of Castamere as the one of it's destruction."

"The Reynes must hear that song often in hell," Jeyne observed.
"My lady," young Septa Melyssa murmured in gentle reproach.
Jeyne smiled at Axel. "Well, you missed all the excitement of my tournament and wedding, but perhaps I can forgive you if you are going to be in King's Landing nevertheless. Even though Uncle Cedric and Uncle Clive and Aunt Aranya left, there are plenty of our kin in town."

Ser Mychel shook the man's offered hand. "I am Ser Mychel Lannister. I believe we met at Hellholt briefly, but my name was Hill then, and I commanded only the men of Fairisle. That is, until Lord Lydden died at Sunspear." He shook his head, as if to shake off memories of that bloody war.

"Ser Mychel fought with great valor and skill in Dorne," Jeyne said with a smile. "Though I doubt you two would have crossed paths during the campaign. Or did you?"

"I merely did my duty, your grace, and was lucky enough to survive. Many men more valorous and skillful than myself died in that gods-forsaken desert," Ser Mychel said somberly. He'd fought in many wars in his lifetime, but none were so bloody as the Dornish Secession. "I believe I met you, Ser, or one of your kin from Castamere. There were many westermen in Dorne at the time."

"You may be right, Ser, though I admit some parts of the campaign are a blur in my memory, I believe the heat may have cooked my mind," he smiled, but there was a glassy look in his eyes.

"You arrived just as I was planning to go out, Ser Axel. You may join me if you wish. Ser Mychel, we will ride down to the Mud Gate and take a ferry across the river."

"Of course, your grace," Ser Mychel said. He poked his head out the door of the Queen's chambers and sent a page down to the stables to prepare their horses.

"Marina, Selyse, Cara, come," Jeyne smiled, rising. Then, along with Axel and Mychel, they mounted their horses and rode down to the harbor to take a ferry across the Blackwater.

The Master of Laws was admitted into the Queen's audience chamber, where she received him in a chair by the red marble mantlepiece. "Lord Tallahar," she greeted him. "I must congratulate you on your new office, and hope that you will serve my husband well."

"So do I Your Grace. But I come here because of another issue. I hear you have opened a hospice in Flea's bottom."

"I have," Jeyne said. "Have you visited it?"

"No but I wish to help you with it. My former wife was a very caring woman. She loved all people and would care for those who are sick. So in honour of my Haley I would like to help you with this Hospice. I can call for Maesters from Highgarden food from the Manders. Even guards from my personal guard."
