Rhodri glances around at his old tower and reminisces about all the great old hunting tapestries he used to have hung up in this room. None are left.

Francis enters, taking a knee before the Lords arrayed before him.
"Milord Hand, Lord Arryn... would that we met under different circumstances." His eyes catch Falgrave. "Seth... I'm glad your okay."

Piers smiles at Varner, "Seth and I are old friends. I thought it wise to have another Reachman here for a different perspective."

"This may be the first time we've met, but I've managed to hear of your reputation, Lord Varner. I am sure we can come to accordance today," Rhodri says.

"I am hopeful Lord Arryn. I have the Lord Hand's word for my safe return, so I will speak plainly, forgive me if offend, it is only nerves, I assure you of that." And indeed Francis' hands are shaking.
"A madness overtook Lord Barret. He was my coz, but he was mad. His nonsense about independence was madness. I don't know if Fossoway was mad or simply ambitious, but he was no friend of the Reach. What I have done in this, I have done for my people, and my true lord, Lyonen, and for the Iron Throne. I have come to ask that the Reach be returned to the King's peace as soon as possible. I fear that Flayedmen from the North, and Dornishmen from the south, as well as others, who may hold grudges against those now dead, will not take peace, and will fire our lands, and kill our people. That I will take arms against, and I would call it loyal service to the crown."

Seth eyed Lord Varner. "Yes, it is good to see that your legs have not given out."

"I will say this once and say it clearly. Lyonen Flowers is not the lord of the Reach. He is a bastard born, and not legitimized by the King. Craych Tyrell is the only son acknowledged by the Septons, and Lord Barret's heir," Rhodri states.

"All that is a given. But for what the Reach has done it must be punished. What do you suggest we do?" Piers asks.

Seth sat, looking at Francis, his eyes calculating the man's every manner and movement.

Francis looks at Lord Rhodri, surprised, He'd not known of this detail. "I... know not Lord Arryn. If you say it is so, and the Septons agree, than it is not in my position to say otherwise. I know that I serve the Lord of the Reach, the Iron Throne, and the Seven, as my family has always done, and as we shall always do. "
Edit: Sorry mistake

"What do Reachmen think is fair?" Rhodri asks. "I would guess it different from what I have heard from my peers in the war councils."

"Lands commit no crimes milord. The Reach has done nothing. Do not tear down her towers and burn her fields for crimes only men committed. It is men who sign statements of Rebellion, and take arms against their Lords. They commit murder and kidnapping to further these crimes, and so should be punished. For those who declared rebellion, let them be exiled or take the black. Let their lands pass to their children, who will learn from a father's mistakes."

Seth had been silent, but finally he spoke. "What is the damage to the Reach, currently? How many have died?"
