"Ah Garrett. I wondered why he failed to join us here. Who is this Nymella, and can we pry him from her? As for the duel, that is between Rindwynd and Spicer to set, death or blood or surrender, I do not know. As his second I am there to observe, not to fight. But I'll be ready to if need be."
"Lord Rindwynd, welcome. We were just discussing the action on the morrow."

"I don't think he's with Nymella anymore, actually," Elane felt her cheeks grow uncomfortably hot. "After he - er - comforted her, Nymella seems to think that he, er, went to...comfort others."

"You know Nymella Waynwood, Rhodri. She's the daughter of Lord Waynwood of Ironoaks, sixteen years old, quite a pretty girl. I find her an amusing companion sometimes."

"Comfort others, eh? Didn't know the lad had such stamina. I hope he learns a lot tonight." Rhodri reflects for a moment. "An interesting lad. And his brothers, too. They are most unusual. Did you see how brazenly Alliser went and spoke with those Stag fools after Baldwin nearly had them arrested? I'm sure he was just looking for an interesting tale, but that took an odd sort of courage. I hope he got a laugh out of them. I wonder if they'll disappear into the undergaols of Casterly Rock for their little prank, whoever they are."

The door bursts open and Sara flies in, looking as though she'd like nothing more than to fling her arms around her family and hug them for days, but she catches sight of the others in the room and restrains herself to a broad smile.
"They told me were here, Rhodri, but to find Elane too, what a delightful surprise. I hope you don't mind my intrusion but there were tales of copious amounts of wine being drunk up here and it's getting dreadfully boring at the feast, all the interesting people have gone."

Elane hugs Sara. "Of course not! It's wonderful that you managed to get away from the rest and come join us. And you're no intrusion - you're our girl and this is your castle, so come and sit down."

"By the Old Gods it's my sister Sara!" Rhodri runs across the room to hug his sister, who he hadn't seen it some years now. "So how does being a lion suit you, prickly sister?"

"What stag fools? Who was Alliser talking to?" Elane's ears pricked at Rhodri's words.

"Were you not in the feasting hall? A couple of jokers, dressed in antlered tunics caused a commotion. Lord Baldwin was cold with rage. But he stayed his hand, and let them be. Alliser thought it all fun, I guess, and went and spoke with them after. Everone else treated them as if they were plague struck, so it looked at the more queer."

"Oh well enough, well enough. It's a rather boring life though being wife to the Lannister heir, you never get to do anything. It's always stay at home, look pretty. If you're lucky you'll stumble across some brawl or suchlike in the town and have a little fun watching, but for the most part it's boring. Not without it's advantages though, have you seen this place, it's fantastic. I'm sure even Lord Baldwin doesn't know where half the rooms are. And I want for absolutely nothing except a bit of adventure."

OOC: Elane left the feasting hall even before Syward Spicer's fight.
IC: "Alliser does love to mock people. He was like that ever since he came to Runestone as a 14-year old squire. He used to bully younger boys, in a quiet, sly way. It was just in his nature, and I guess he was all prickly about being Runestone's ward and hostage. He must have scared those poor jokers off."

"Allard is a good boy, although a bit dull," Elane agreed. "Still, he's probably a better husband than most. He seemed to dote on you at dinner, Sara. And you'll have your adventure soon enough. Isn't it exciting that we're all here again - and for more entertaining reasons?"

"Did you think to enter yourself, Sara, in the Archery Contest? Lord Baldwin stated he would accept women, and you were always a better shot than I. Might open his eyes a bit if he saw your skill."
Rhodri hands his sister a flagon of wine.

"Oh, yes. He's lovely really, I don't mean to complain, I do love it here. Is it only the two of you here? I'm afraid I'm quite out of touch with our family, I want all the news."

"Ha, I might be more out of touch than you. No one travels to the Stormlands. I hear it's something to do with the weather. I've not seen Breyn for some time, he goes between Gulltown and King's Landing but does little else. Selwyn disappeared completely, as did Aranya. She was gone first between them. Jon Royce fights against the clans, I believe, I haven't seen him in years now."
"But I have my two children. I did not bring them here, but you must come see them at some point. Yohn is the boy, and the elder, and his sister is Saella."
