Mandon clenched his jaw, growing more annoyed with the pious Reach knight so far from home. "Then I will send a raven to my lord to see that this situation might be clarified. Septon Gyles listened for a while, frowning. Then he took Leyton by the arm. "We will gain nothing by arguing, lad. Perhaps we will do better to petition for the revival of the Faith Militant and the Poor Fellows. Nobody, least of all the Starks of Winterfell, could fail to take notice of us then."

"Then let us gather our supporters, and, when we are ready, march to Kings Landing. I am sure Lord Sunderland will find this a better occupation for our brave band," said Septon Gyles. "And if Stark gives the faithful trouble in the future, we can always march back again."

Leyton frowned, and turned away. "Let us talk away from those who do not respect the faith." He muttered to Septon Gyles, turning his back on Sunderland. The man had made it abundantly clear that the Royces were not supporters of the seven.

Leyton nodded. "Then it is there we shall meet. You are acquainted with all those we will need to summon?"

"I am. An hour will suffice to get us there, i believe. With luck we shall be able to depart White Harbor within a day or two as well."

//////////////////////////////////// After the confrontation with Leyton, Lord Mandon Sunderland shows the guards his documents from Lord Royce stating that the bearer, Lord Sunderland, is authorized to act in his name. He asks for a meeting with Jarl Manderly, new heir to White Harbor and one of the two remaining sons of Lord Manderly.
