Lord Manderly met with Stark in his personal study. "Greetings Eirik. How are you?" He stood and offered his hand.

Eirek took the hand and shook it. "I'm well. Although that may change. Your son tells me the king is dead."

"The King is dead." Manderly replied, "Where is Timmett?" The large muscular man moved to sit back down.

Eirek sat as well. "Balthazar sent him away. To check on some boats, I think."

Manderly missed his seat and fell to the ground. His ample rear bounced and he was quickly on his feet. "Balthazar... you spoke to him?"

Eirek started to move to help Manderly, but decided not to acknowledge the gaffe. "I did. He was right behind Timmett to meet us at the docks."

Lord Manderly leaned back in his chair, "I did not know... I hope he did not rattle on. He has always talked to much."

"Oh, not too badly. So, was there any more information? Have we been called south? Has Prince Damon made any public moves since the news?"

"Prince Damon has disappeared from the face of the Earth, and you have been summoned to a new coronation." Manderly replied.

"Hm. I suppose that they'll take it as a slight if I plead having to take care of matters in Winterfell. No word from Bolton's lad that disappeared with the prince, either?"

"None that has reached me." Manderly replied. "I will send word to Lord Bolton immediately to see if there is anything new."

"I would appreciate that. And, if you'll indulge me, Lord Manderly, a question," Eirek considered his next words carefully, "If it came to war between Damon and Rose, a new Dance of Dragons with thankfully no real dragons, how do you think it would play out?"

"It would be hard to determine how the war would go with out knowing who will side with who, but I would be hard pressed to wager against Lord Aenys." Manderly replied.

"That is true. The Toad will, at least, likely have the Tyrells at his beck and call. They bring quite the advantage with their armies. But enough about matters in the South. How has the North fared while we have been away at war?"
