"more ale then wine. That's a Southern thing. Barley and hops is easier to grow then grapes in the cooler weather," Summer said. "I think mayhaps the Manderlys or them may make attempts and wine-making, but.." she gave a face which expressed skepticism.

"You think Manderley wine will not be to your taste?" He asked. "Have you never tried Dornish red, or summerwine? Or Arbor gold?"

"I don't think it would be to anyone's taste. And i'm happy with my ale," Summer said, "But I would take another one."

"Another one it is," Mark said, shouting again for the barmaid.
He watched hte girl to see if she was anything near drunk.
"I like ale well enough but wine serves better for getting drunk. Have you never tried strongwine? It has a kick to it like a crossbow."

"No," Summer replied, sipping her ale, "I'm not here to get drunk. I do that, and you will take advantage of me."

"You seem very sure of that," he said. "Do you think I would want a woman who didn;t want me? I'm no Ironborn raider."

"What, so you wouldn't take advantage of me? What's wrong with me then?" She asked, putting her hand on the table with a bang.

He drank deep and looked her over with clear admiration.
"Nothing at all. I'd be sorely tempted to take advantage of you, truly, indeed, only a wish not to cause you offence would stop me. But I'd rather have you willing than otherwise."

!"Dirty how?" He asked. "Would you rather have a man who wanted you when you are in your right mind than blind drunk?"

"You do know, by now, do you not dear, that no matter what you reply, I intend to mock you," Summer said with a laugh. "its part of my charm."

Lyelle had been watching her brother with a disapproving look but she overheard that last comment and laughed. "I would imagine your feisty Dornish women to be the same."

"A little, truly, but you Northern women have a charm all your own."
He paused and saluted them with his tankard.
"Would you mock me even if you were in my bed, Lyelle"?

"That would depend on your performance," The girl replied, leaning in and giving Mark a wink.

"I'd imagine that's where women most especially mock you," Summer replied with a snort of mirth.
