"He'll lie, that's something Serpents are good at!" Summer opined.

He had been listening to the two girls with much interest.
"My sigil is a dragon, not a serpent, but I'm sufficiently endowed, I swear it. As Summer could have testified, if she had cared to look instead of taking fright."

Lyelle blushed slightly and covered her mouth again. "How exceedingly naughty, Ser Mark!"

"I didn't take fright, I called everyone's attention to the naked pervert in the middle of Baelor's Sept," she replied. "And what I did see was not that impressive."

Mark's grin widened.
"Naughtiness is dependent upon where you come from, Lady Lyelle. What you call naughty in the North is not so unusual in Dorne. And Summer...'ve never had any complaints in the past. Mayhaps you should take a trip beyond the Wall? I hear giants are massively endowed."

"Giants aren't real." Lyelle said, rolling her eyes. "And anyway, the lands above the Wall are uninhabitable. Unless you're a wildling of course, but they are more animal than man."

"Giants are so real, and wildlings is just men like any other, except they ain't got no respect for Lords and rights." Summer said, with a frown. "Raiders and criminals they are, but they still men."

"Bah!" Lyelle said, her nose rising higher and her fan flapping quicker. "And how would you know? I have a nephew who is half wildling and he acts like an animal!"

"What kind of animal?" Mark asked.

"A wild one, silly." Lyelle said to Mark, a doubting look on her face. "And here I thought Dornishmen were supposed to be clever."

"My cousins, who live in the mountains north of the Wolfswood face Wildling raids all the time. They catch them, and hang or behead them. And they are just common men. Ain't no tougher or troublesome then others." Summer insisted.

"And yet you hear all kinds of stories down south, but maybe that is to frighten us, because we will never get close to the North. My mother used to tell me to behave or the wildlings would get me," Mark revealed.

Lyelle scowled at being outdone by Summer and vented her annoyance on Mark. "That's stupid! Dorne is on the opposite end of Westeros! There aren't any wildlings here!"

"That's the point," he said. "We have nothing like them in the south, only ordinary raiders and Reachmen and Stormlanders on our borders. The wildlings are more...exotic. That's why my mother used to threaten us with them if we missbehaved."

"That'd be a hell of a wildling raid. If you believe that you must not have been a very clever child," Summer said, sticking out her tongue.
