"The same night that there were attacks on Royce, Tyrell and Dondarrion she went missing." Merlyn replied.

"Someone needs to go to Sunspear and investigate," Mark suggested. "I'll go, if you'd rather command our armies. This is too strange and dangerous to be let pass."

Merlyn snorted, "That is at least wise. You go, and if Emelia does not live find out what her replacement plans to do to save my wife."

"I willl, and Isolde must come too. She knows Sunspear better than I ever shall."
Isolde nodded.
"Of course. TThis involves me too. But Ser Merlyn, what shall you do? About our levies and so forhth?"
Mark said "Father, we cannot let Uncle Uther have the command here at Ghost Hill, no matter what. He's always wanted the castle for himself, we all know that. It's safer if he's with the army, I think/. He's not like to do anything rash with Arthur a prisoner."
Mark hoped he didn't do anything rash himself. It was time to be serious for once in his life.

Merlyn replied with a grunt, "I will stay here. Uther can go, your mother wanted me here, or I would be in Sunspear already, demanding they act."

Merlyn looked at his son, "That could not be more true."

"Alright, let's write to the other houses of Dorne. Is there anyone we should avoid?"

Merlyn shrugged, "None that I can think of."

Isolde smiled and embraced Merlyn.
"Seven keep you safe, ser."

Merlyn patted her back, and smiled, "Watch after him... he needs it."

"I know he does. If all goes well, I think this will be the making of him," Isolde wishpered to her goodfather. She smiled sadly and retreated with Mark to help write the letters.
