Merlyn frowned, "Lets not speak of that anymore."

"Then what would you speak of, my love?"

Merlyn leaned forward, and kiss his wife, his hand wrapping around her back and pulling her close.

She made an "Oh" sound as his moth closed over hers and pressed her body against his, as fully as she could manage from a seated position. Her hand slid up to delve into his hair.

Perros arrived the day after Viviane's talk with Merlyn. The servants notifying her of his arrival, she had him ushrered to her solar, while the castle serants saw to the needs of his men and horses
"Lord Yronwood, greetings," she said. "Itt is good to see you. Are you on your way to Sunspear?"

"Good-sister," Perros said with a warm smile and spreading his skinny arms, "such formalities are not for us, how many times must I tell you? I am pleased to see you again, you are as radiant as always, it has been too long."
"Yes, I go to Sunspear for our Princess's summons, I had thought we might travel together, but first I wished to visit Tyenne," he said, gesturing to a bundle of vibrantly coloured Dornish flowers in his hand.

She smiled sadly. It had been so long since her sister's death and it pleased her that Perros still thought of her.
"Of course. You're always welcome to visit Tyenne, Perros. Her shade will be pleased, I've no doubt of it. I will be glad to travel with you, but I had planned to leave on the morrow. Will that serve?"

"Yes, that will serve perfectly," he said, with a genial smile. "Will your husband Merlyn be joining us?" he asked, offering his arm to her to go to the burial grounds of House Toland.

She hadn't meant to go to the grave since Perros had been shown the way on a previous visit, but she decided it would be impolite to refuse. Tyenne had been her only sister, and though she loved her brothers and goodsisters, it wasn't the same.
"No, Merlyn remains here as castellan. I'd gladly take him with me but I trust my husband above any man in the realm. Ghost Hill could not be in better hands."

"Of course, an excellent man, your Merlyn, of that there can be no doubt," he said as he walked her through the keep.
"What do you think our good princess wishes with us, Viviane?"

Viviane smiled as they walked.
"i know not, and Eleyna could not enlighten me when we wrote, but the princess is sure to want something. For my part, I think it must be significant to call us all together. Mayhaps she seeks an independent Dorne, but we shall see. I may be proved wrong."

Perros smiled. "Is that not what all Martells seek at all times? Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken, aren't they?" His thin voice cracked a laugh. "Perhaps our beloved princess has developed a scheme to achieve it, though I scarce believe her likely to share the intimate details of such a plan with all her lords and ladies. Princess Emelia is as devious as she is beautiful, and she rarely cares to include anyone but herself in the inner workings of her plots."
They walked out the keep and proceeded to the ancestral burial grounds of the Tolands.

They approached the grounds in silence, and Perros went to the place where Tyenne was buried. The thin lord got down on one knee and closed his eyes. He was silent for a few minutes.

Viviane stood close by, watching Perros while she took a moment to indulge in her own grief for her long-dead sister. She had lost a number of her kin and her beloved firstborn was one of that number. She gave Perros as few minutes of quiet reflection before she spoke in a quiet, solemn voice.
"Coming here reminds me of Tyenne as a little girl, and a young bride before her wedding," she whispered. "I remember how beauitful she looked in her bride's dress, how happy she was. She loved you."
