Edwyn takes the blade, and holds it, "Impressive." When he turns back to Tully he hands him the sword, almost taking off his hand.

"As to my fate, Lord Banefort?" Sojen asked lazily. "I would hate to think this was all for nothing. Do I get the noose, or perhaps the cold comfort of the dungeons."

"Why would I execute you? No come in?" Edwyn turned, "Do you like milk, I have the sweetest cow named Pariah."

"Actually, Lord, my stomach can not abide by the milk of an animal. It turns my stomach to water, if I might be so crass." He chuckled. "Though if you have any wine, I will gladly indulge."

Banefort nodded, and continued toward the keep, "I suppose you can have some rooms in the tower until we figure out what to do with you."

"That would be lovely. Is there much to do for prisoners here? Other than be miserable and contemplate their past errors? I wouldn't suppose you partake in Cvyasse, do you, Lord Banefort?"

Edwyn nodded, "I lost all but one of my pieces though. It was the damnedest thing there was this giant dove."

Connor took the blade back, cursing to himself at Banefort's carelessness, driving it home in its scabbard. "Best follow him or he is like to wander off by himself and forget you," Connor says to Sojen as he hurries to catch up to the Lord of the Crossing.
"My lord," he says slowing to match Edwyn's stride. "What do you plan to do with Manderly? It is clear he is no bandit. He and his men could be helpful in hunting the real bandits that still plague us."

Banefort turned to Tully, "You want him? You can have him."

Connor smiles, "Good then," he says turning to Sojen. "We will rest here long enough for you to recover before we set out again. That is, if you still mean to accompany me," he says as he holds Ice out to the young Manderly.

Connor nods. "Good then. It is good to see that all of this worked out for the best. Now we can go and hunt the true villains." Connor leads Sojen off to his room and finds suitable places for their respective men whiel they wait to leave once more.
A few days later Devan Rivers rides into the Twins with the remainder of Connor's men, making his force fifty knights and one hundred men at arms strong.
