She stood with him and tugged his arm, "Please don't go so quickly. This shouldn't be rushed. And there is no wrong choice Ser, we have but barely begun to know eachother. Does the King hang on your response?"

"No of course not. He has not even formally asked me." Aidan replied, "But I do not want to cause you distress."

"Well it is hard for me to speak plain, doubly so since I have not known love before. But it would damage my reputation to be with you due to your standing. But that does not mean that I would not wish to see you more and speak with you, and if we do fall in love, to decide what we can do that would benefit us."

Aidan smirked slightly, "If my presence is a slight to your honor I do believe I should go. We can not have the courtiers thinking poorly of you on my account."

"Do not tease me Ser, I have said that I would be willing to see you." She let go of his arm. "Then go, if it brings you satisfaction to see me like this, and since you are fearful of making a wrong choice." She folded her arms.

"You must believe me when I say I am not satisfied." Aidan replied, "You agreed to seeing my like it was as pleasurable as dancing with a fat suitor. I may be low-born, but I do not enjoy having it flung in my face. I still have my pride." He was clam the whole time, only offering a small sigh as he spoke.

She started getting red in the face, but not because she was shy or embarrassed, but because she was angry. "I have not once flung it in your face. I said I would be open to you, and you have only said how you would hurt me by your choices, and that is what you continue to do with what you say. What else am I supposed to say, and what don't you understand? I have spoken plain."

"You have spoken too plain." Aidan added, then turned and walked away stiffly.

Arya sat down fuming and confused.

Arya meandered through the garden, stopping to smell certain flowers and made note which ones smelled the best.

"I had not thought," came the steady, gravelly voice a Far Reachman's accent from behind her, "That when you asked me to teach you to observe, you'd be using it to gaze at flowers."

Ary recognised the voice and bent over to pick out a flower hidden underneath several larger ones. "Pretty," she said as she sniffed it and turned around. "I'm sorry, but I've not had much time for myself Ser Aerion." She thought it humerous that he had come to the garden. "But I've been looking forward to our meeting."

Aerion's dour visage did not crack, but his eyes seemed to twinkle perhaps a little, "That's not something that I hear very often," He replied.

"I did say that I wanted to be your pupil. I tried my best to be attentive during the feasts but I did not pick up on much, only Lord Talyn and his son arguing, but many saw that I think. And I did promise to share everything I find with you." She twirled the stem of the flower in between her thumb and pointing finger.

Aerion's ears perked up a little bit, but otherwise he does not express any approval. "Flowers isn't quite what I had in mind, but I suppose it would be a courtesy to thank you. So thank you," the White Weasel said, "Did you happen to hear what they were arguing about?"
