"Hmm no, I didn't get close enough to hear, but they were animated. Aerie was with me and went to get him so I could speak with him. They spoke for a little while and he came to me. He seemed a little bit different than from when I seen him before. I wish I could speak with Aerie about it more but she's sick now." She frowned, "I should have tried to get closer to hear them."

Aerion nodded curtly, "I see. Have you told anyone else about this?"

Ary shook her head, "No, I was talking about it with Aerie, before she got sick, and I thought Ser Tomas wanted to join the Kingsguard. Do you think Ser Tomas killed his father? IT doesn't make sense to me."

Aerion brushed off some imaginary dirt off of his white scale mail with the back of his left hand
"He damn near took Locke's eye out. Don't seem like the move of an innocent man to me. Not that I've never been tempted to stab that Northern fuck in the eye myself, but never mind that."

She frowned at his use of bad language. "Well I'm no expert Ser, but if I had just killed my father I wouldn't go to my house and wait there. Tomas could have been scared and and lshed out at his captors. But I'm sure Master Quentyn has thought of all this. I just don't see how a man like Tomas could do such a thing."

Aerion cocked his head to the side, "Men are capable of all sorts of terrible things," he replied, "usually the ones you least expect it from. That Thatcher boy was too quiet for my taste. The quiet ones are the ones you need to watch."

"But he was honourable! He was horrified to have killed that man in the joust." She narrowed her eyes at him. "So then we were watching him but chose to do nothing Ser?"

Aerion rocked back on his heels, "I said watch him, not read his bloody mind, there is a difference you know... milady," Aerion smiled with gleaming white teeth. "As for the bit about Ser Orlando... Tomas was clearly a man of strong emotions wasn't he? If he can be driven to weeping so easily, maybe he can be driven to rage just as quick?"

"He wasn't in a rage when he came into the masquerade. He was calm and stopped to look around the Hall before he made his way to the back. It was a good costume." She added unnecessarily. "Why would he kill his father there anyway, he could have killed his father in secret at home and no one would know it was him." She shrugged. "But you're right, he was a bit changed after that incident at the joust."

"He was very emotional about Ser Orlando," Aerion replied with a smile, "but if he could be brought to tears so easily, perhaps he could also be quickly enraged? Its rare for emotional men to display just one emotion... no?"

"That is true, but you'd be hard pressed to find someone say how he's ever been enraged." She shrugged again. "You have to admit that not everything adds together Ser. Some tell me he's emotionally unstable, others say he's calm and collected like his father. I don't think he could kill his father unless I knew more. It could be that Ser Locke went to kill Tomas instead of apprehend him."

Aerion raised his eyebrow, "I'd be careful about saying a thing like that out loud. Even a man whose not so prickly about his honor, and Locke is damnable prickly, would take offense at being called a murderer."
The chambermaid, who Arya recognizes from earlier during Aerie's seizure, approaches quickly.
"Oh, milady, I apologize for interrupting... I wanted to speak with you, if you have the time."

"I'm sorry, I got carried away with speculation. It's a weakness of our sex to try and find the good in others I think." She greeted the maid with a nod of her head, "If Ser Aerion does not mind then you can speak with me now if it is important."

Aerion shrugged his shoulders. The maid looked at the menacing White Knight, and came closer to Arya to speak quietly.
"Milady, I was in the servants quarters, the other day, and I was speaking to my friend Emerila, and she said that she knows of an herbalist in the city. Her grandpa suffered from similar symptoms, after taking a cosh to the head in a melee, and she said that this potion cured him of his symptoms. I thought you would want to know right away."

"Thank you for telling me, what is the herbalists name and where are they? I would have to speak to the maester and Lady Yunici but I am willing to look into it."
