A beautiful place in the Red Keep with fountains, colourful flowers of all sorts, well kept hedges and benches to rest upon in the midst of such grand nature.

"So Ser Aiden, I would like to know more about your history, you mentioned your parents are passed on, who were they and where did you hail from? If you don't mind me asking." She touched a tiger lily as they walked by them.

Sand nodded, "My mother was just a bar maid, and my father was Lord Santagar." Aidan replied, "If you do not mind I do not really like talking about them."

She pointed to a white bench that sat beside the orange lilys and overlooked a fountain. "I didn't mean to intrude. Perhaps you can tell me more about some of your travels then and how it is like to be far from home. I have always thought of my home here at King's Landing."

Aidan nodded, "Or you could tell me about living at court. Is it enjoyable? What do you do to keep busy? Either way I may end up being committed to court, so I should know."

She did not like him shading his life from her and frowned. "To me and to many others court is enjoyable. I am privaledged with the company of the Queen and other upstanding ladies." She withdrew her arm from him and folded her hands in her lap as they walked. "I tend the Queen, and I usually read poetry or write it in my spare time. One day the Queen will deign me a proper lady and I will be on my own I suppose."

Aidan nodded slowly, "You are frowning. Is something wrong?" He tilted his head, and scanned the lush growth.

"You don't seem to like to talk about yourself." Arya stated plainly. "Why did you return from the Free Cities anyway?"

Aidan nodded, "There is not much to talk of. I am boring, while I find you eminently interesting." He looked around and then continued, "I missed my land. There is good work in the free cities, but they are not my home. This is."

"Well I'd like to know more about a man who finds me interesting and who came to these events an unknown to everyone. I don't think there is anyone in King's Landing who would not be interested to hear your story." She bent over to sniff at some pretty flowers.

Aidan nodded, and placed his hand on hers, "I do not mint sharing with you, but I would appreciate it if you kept as much as the information you glean to yourself. I do not feel the need to share with the entire court."

"I will be mindful to your stories Ser." She let his hand linger for a moment before she withdrew hers back to her lap. "I don't share everything that I hear."

Aidan nodded, "Then ask you questions, but know that my private nature means I have ill experience telling stories, and mine will suffer for it."

"How long were you in the Free Cities then and what is it like there? IS it true that a man can rise up no matter what his birth?"

"The free cities are not all alike. And even over there such a thing is very rare. Mostly the sons of highborn rise, just like here." Aidan replied. "I spent most of my time in Lys, Pentos and Myr. But I saw Braavos, Lorath and Qohor as well."
