"Arya, my concern is that if Morgan and I do not make before this happens - assuming, of course that it does - it will look like I have driven Morgan away. The people still love her, I think, so I'd sooner not have that happen. Besides, I do want peace between us, eeven if she does not."

"Yes, please, though I will need a few days before I feel up to acting as hostes. Morgan will appreciate that, I'm sure. Besides, she's not going to want to set eyes on my son and I can't bear to let him out of my sight quite yet."

Joanna had finally risen from her bed after her childbirth but was lying on the daybed by the window wit hthe cradle within easy view.
"Anni, come here and see my son!" She called.

Joanna lowered her voice and whispered "Daemon loves his children by Morgan, of course, but they are not Targaryen enough for him, My Selwyn will be Targaryen on all sides."
