Rhaenys smiled happily down at Trant as she put the crown on her head.
"That is very gallant of you, Lord Trant. I shall wear it with pride. It pleases me to be named Queen of Love and Beauty at my first tournament. I will not forget this."

Rowan bowed low and then took a quick peek over at the Lord Hand to see if he was still frowning. . . he was. . . and then returned his gaze to the queen, "is there anything else your Grace?"

Rhaenys looked as happy as a girl with teh crown atop her head.
"Nothing, thank you. You have my heartfelt congratulations," she said.
Then she looked at Eusstace.
"Do not scowl so, my lord. Why does it displease you so much to see me wear the Queen of Beauty's laurel?"

"Brynden. He said we should let the young wave win a tournament or two. I have named four Queens of beauty in my day, and they all pale in comparison with today's." Eustace replied dryly.

Rhaenys thought that a too-obvious ploy to win her favour but she resolved to ignore such sycophancy.

Rowan is in his Tourney Tent making preparations for other events, he looks up when his uncle enters.
"Uncle Ivan," Rowan says standing with a smile, I have not seen you in a long time.
