Rowan hears the cheers of the crowd after the first tilt, the noise from the Limp carrying well to where his tent was setup. "Who'd you draw cousin?" Rowan asked Ser Jerrod
"A Royce, but not one that I have heard of before," Jerrod said.
"I noticed your brother is competing," Rowan said.
"Yeah, I didn't notice" Jerrod replied curtly.
"You two are still not speaking?" Rowan inquired.
"For the time being if that is okay with you," Jerrod said, "Good luck to you Rowan I have to go prepare."
Rowan nodded, he did not even remember what caused the two Lonmouth brothers to be at odds, Jerrod had told him once but for almost 6 years, Rowan couldn't remember a single time when they spoke to one another.
He moved toward the Limp to see if he could watch a few of his competitors tilt.

Conwell smiled at seeing himself paired with the man who trained him and against whom he'd tilted so many times. He sought out Ben whom he found cleaning the shoes of his horse. Conwell clapped him on the shoulder, "Just don't kill me in public, old man!"
Crakehall smiled a bit before turning more serious, "You've done this before, Conwell, many times, but the effect of the crowd will surprise you. Be ready and be right, boy."

Conwell has scant comment as the three defeated Westerman return, consumed instead by a desire to allow none of his nerves to show through.
