"Yes, your grace," Ser Mychel said, and did has he was bid.

"Thank you, ser," Jeyne smiled at Mychel.
Turning to Cedric, she blushed very faintly, but looked him in the eye and said, "We...did our duty on our marriage night, uncle."

"Hire a couple of old Midwives, and do what ever they tell you will help urge a boy child." Cedric replied. "It is your duty." He did not look uncomfortable, but calm and avuncular.

"I pray to the Mother to give me a fertile womb," Jeyne said, quite earnestly. She had been raised with the idea of throwing male heirs in her mind. "And I'm taking a milk concoction that is supposed to keep...I mean, encourage fertility," she said. "I want to give Rickon a son, uncle, I really do. But we..." now she blushed. "We haven't...tried, much."

Cedric nodded and then said, "I will tell you, as a man, we are always ready to preform our duty. All we need is a damsel's urgings." He chuckled, "If you need any technical advice, ask you mother or my wife. They can help explain certain techniques." Cedric drank some wine to cover his smile.

Jeyne blushed. "I...I will ask them, uncle. But of Rickon - well, we are both not very experienced, and I think he feels embarrassed, and awkward. Mother said to give him some time to get over his shyness. He feels that he has to measure up to something."

Cedric shook his head. "I do not really want to discuss those techniques. I am sure you will figure it out. You were always a smart girl. So how are you enjoying the Red Keep?"

"It is restrictive sometimes," Jeyne said. "I keep hearing reports of people killing each other in Dorne, and I want to help. I am going to send four units of my company down there. Meanwhile, I am trying to help the people of King's Landing in whatever ways I can. You should see Lady Sara's Hospice. Mother said she was very proud of me," Jeyne beamed. "And I am overseeing the digging of a lake on the site of my new city."

Cedric nodded and smiled proudly, "You are doing quite well. You are going to be written about a great deal in the histories."

"I want to uphold the honor of my House, uncle," Jeyne said. "Sometimes I do miss Casterly Rock," she added wistfully. "I remember the way the waves crashed against the rocks and the salty sea breeze that came into my room. And the golden Hall of Heroes, where I used to play with Alanna and Cara...well, at least my companions are here with me."

Cedric smiled, "I would love if you and the King would come visit the Rock. It has been a long time since he has visited. It would make the westermen proud."

"He was about half the height he is now, when he last visited Casterly Rock," Jeyne smiled. "I remember when he came for Lord Randal's tourney. Yes, perhaps we shall visit, and see you and Aunt Aranya and your child. Selyse would be pleased at that too. I have no doubt the Rock will be in extremely capable hands with you there."

Cedric nodded, "You must make him. It will be delightful. Do not take no for an answer."

"I promise I won't," Jeyne laughed.
