Talyn gestured at sticky greenish herbal poultice covering his face. "She slashed my face milord. With my dagger. It was as my punishment."

Selwyn's eye fixed on the bandage, and he breathed deeply, his nostrils flaring slightly. "Do you have a plan yet?" He turned his head to stare at the wall deep int thought.

"They have asked to meet at Harrenhal, and have instructed that the Queen bring only one hundred men. They will be watching us as we move south through the Neck. Would it be possible to leave a detachment at White Harbour, saying they are there to repair the damage? Than, have them sail south on commandeered ships, and land at Saltpans and march on Harrenhal from the opposite direction?"

Selwyn thought. "We can try. Any thoughts who should lead that? We would need to determine the number of vessels there as well."

Talyn shook his head, "If it seaworthy we take it. I do not know who we can trust to be competent but also keep the scheme from the Queen. Lord Tarly perhaps? The Ironborn will be competent sailors, but I don't know how far we can trust them. Probably not much further than we can throw them. I do not know enough of the others to say. "

Selwyn thought, "Drumm. Greyjoy. Dawnrose? Tully? Darry?" He touched his chin and moved toward the exit, "It is your plan Thatcher. Make it a good one or your Dragon dies."

Talyn sighed heavily, "the risk to her grace, and the princess. It's so high. And arrive before Thatcher notices? Impossible. Perhaps there is another way. My father is a man who thrives on betrayal. Believes everyone can be turned. So let us give him what he wants. I will go to him with my men. I will convince him that I have turned, and will rescue Kyma. Her Grace will not have to acquiesce."

Selwyn stopped and nodded, "I will let you do this if you wish. There is a greater risk then you think. Your position here has always been tenuous. There will be many who think what you propose an act of betrayal even with out evidence."

"I don't care about my reputation Lord Selwyn, it will never be any good anyway. If I can save the princess, that is good enough for me. What other people think, it doesn't matter. Meanwhile, you launch the rescue mission to Saltpans, if you would milord. Darry, Tully and the Ironborn men. Even if they are detected, Thatcher would be suspicious if we weren't planning a move of some kind anyway." Talyn said.

Talyn nodded, "Very well milord. It was a pleasure serving under you these past four years. Whatever else happens in the future, knowing that I was on the field of battle with you, that day... I won't forget it."
Talyn offered a salute, "Goodbye milord, with your leave."
