The camp of the Targaryens stands close to the Wall. The camp is well organised with rows of tents spaced out evenly. The camp is surrounded by a makeshift barrier of sharpened stakes and a small ditch. A narrow entrance to the camp is guarded by sentries and the perimeter is patrolled day and night by Aegon's men.
In the centre Aegon has caused two larger tents to be erected. One is for the Rhaenys and her siblings should they deign to spend time at the camp. The other is for Aegon himself. The traditional Targaryen banner flies above the Rhaenys' tent. Aegon's tent flies his 'Lone Dragon' standard - a single headed red dragon on black.

Maekar Blackfyre arrived in a hurry.
"Borcas, quick, there's trouble with the Ironborn, most like as a result of Tarly searching for the Pretender Ariel. We must prepare ourselves to fight. Rhaenys is going to stall them as long as possible but there is bound to be bloodshed."

Borcas sat up.
"What the fuck?" He scratched his chin, though he was not new to sudden turns of luck, thanks to his life with the Dothraki.
"Men! Get ready to fight! Iggo, where the hell are you? Jhaqo, Moro, at my side." He shouted with a thundering voice.
Ser Aethan heard the noise and when he csame out of his tent and saw what's going on, he went back to take his armor.
"Ser Maekar, stand close to me. As soon as half the men are ready we'll move. the rest may catch up with us. Where are we heading?"
Ser Aethan came out again, ready for war. Borcas saw him at the light of torches.
"Ser Aethan, I will move when half the men are ready. Assume command of the rest and follow me as soon as you can."

"The Ironborn are outside Castle Black itself, talking to the Queen. We should surround them so we can be prepared for trouble. I don't trust those squid men to keep the queen's peace, flag or truce or not."

"Very well." He turned to the troops again.
"Men, light torches. Form lines. NOW! The Queen can't wait for you to move your feet." He was shouting orders left and right, untill at last the men were able to move.
"Follow me!" He roared, while the three Bloodriders rode beside him.

Aegon Targaryen stalked out of his tent with his lieutenants scrambling behind him. He saw Redwyne barking orders at his men and his men leaving the camp. Aegon impatiently signalled to a nearby trumpeter who began to sound the recall. He swung up onto his stallion can cantered across to where Ser Aethan Hill was organising his troops. "What the hell do you think you're doing Hill? I command here. No other man here moves, unless I command it!"

Aegon raged around the camp cursing Redwyne, Blackfyre and Aethan Hill, who received the bulk of his fury. Quickly his remaining hundred men formed under his command and moved towards the wildling camp.

Prince Aegon returns to camp with the thirty men that escorted Lord Hightower's body to Castle Black.
Dismounting in front of his tent, the Prince is met by Aerys Velaryon. At Aerys' inquiring glance, Aegon shakes his head. The Prince throws the reins of his stallion to a soldier and stalks into his tent.
After a few minutes, he comes out with a piece of parchment, rolled, tied and sealed with his personal seal. He walks to the waiting Aerys.
"Apparently, Rhaenys only reads letters and messages now, instead of talking to her lords. See that this reaches her."
He turned to walk into his tent, but stopped and looked back at Aerys.
"When that's done, I want the usuals to meet in my tent as soon as possible. You, Maekar and the other captains. We have much to discuss and I want your advice."

"Cousin," said Rhaenys, greeting him with a strained smile. "I wanted to talk about the events of the other night. I assume you don't object if we sit?"
