"She has, about some,"
Ser Gerald was staring at them quite intensely.

"I see; well, I am sure that can wait. I do hope though as soon as the marriage is done and we have some information we can move further south. Westeros needs us."

Yet another wind chilled through her and she shivered. "I can't wait 'til we reach King's Landing. I am a bit concerned though of what we might find. Are you coming there, too?"

"I will be with you for all of the way, unless I am unfortunate enough to fall to an enemies blade." He grinned and looked at the horizon again. "But fear not, I shall be there to protect you and your family."

She smiled. "What about Starfall?"

"I can take care of that later. First we need to take Kings Landing back and affirm it as Rhaenys' seat of rule. Dragonstone too, and Summerhall." He smiled at her. "I'm a very patient man but eventually I will take up Starfall as my seat."

"I wish you luck with that, ser. By the way, is there anyone in particul-" she was cut off by Ser Gerald, who drove his horse a little closer to Alysanne's and asked the man next to her; "Did you ever consider the Queensguard, ser?"

Euric looked sternly at ser Gerald. "If you knew the history of my house you would not ask such a question." He turned back smiling to Alysanne. "You were about to say...?"

"Oh right, you're the Dayne!" Ser Gerald chuckled. "Sorry about your grandfather. He must've really pissed them off to get twelve assassins sent after him." Alysanne gave Euric an apologetic look and frowned at Yronwood. "Gerald the Gruff," she said. "I must apologize, Ser Euric, he can get a bit.. hot-headed sometimes. It doesn't matter actually, It can wait until we reach Winterfell."

Euric turned a smiling gaze on Gerald. "He may have agitated some people but at least he never interrupted a lady in mid sentence." He turned back to Alysanne. "Then I shall wait until we reach Winterfell; but do expect a rather pesky interrogation, Alysanne." Euric chuckled.

Ser Gerald was about to say something sharp, but the princess gave him a strict look so he said "I shall see if Joseff has something interesting to speak of," and rode off after her nod. He was replaced by Ser Gallagher, as silent as ever.
Alysanne laughed at Euric's remark. "Oh trust me, I've seen a lot worse."

"I think we all have." Euric replied, his mood darkening a little. "Well, I no longer wish to take up your time and I have a few feuding mouths to shut up." He smiled, winked at her and then rode off.

Ser Mearn walked beside a horse, holding the reins while a young boy no more than fifteen sat astride it, a large bandage around his head. Ser Mearn had walked much in the last years, so a few more leagues wouldn't do him any harm, and more importantly the boy needed the horse better.
He looked around at the other Mander soldiers, and he saw a few faces that were familiar, but not as many as before. There were Targaryen soldiers as well, some of them whispered among themselves pointing over at him while others patted him on the shoulder, thanking him for rescuing them at the battle.

Ragnor, jogging up the column, seeks out the standard of Maekar Blackfyre. He nods to the man, then says, "Hail. Ragnor Greyjoy. I hear you have the queen's ear, is that true enough?"

Alysanne didn't have anything better to do so she rode a bit forward and noticed the man walking next to a horse and the injured boy on it. "My, that is very noble of you, ser..?"
