Euric smiled at the man riding up. "It is indeed! I think I can count myself lucky to be wielding it... I trust you know the delicate recent history of house Dayne?"

"Do you mean Timm Vikary marrying into the House or the fleeing of them across the Narrow Sea?" Edmure doesn't smile back but he doesn't seem hostile.

"All of it." Euric replies with a laugh. "We haven't exactly been lucky in the past and that is a though that has stayed with me over the whole campaign... so I'm very glad to be here." He studied the man for a moment before speaking up again. "You are lord Dawnrose are you not?"

"I am. Though my history is the same as your families. Some discard me for being from a family of traitors when they themselves were born from traitors as well."

"Ah but that is the nature of man; seeking faults in others and pointing them out so our own faults can easily be overlooked." He smiled pleasantly. "So what do you make of our new Queen?"

"I have not had much time or seen enough of her to know. Selwyn is truthful to her and I must admit old loyalties have not disappeared so I follow him."

Euric nodded. "She is a good woman; a little young, but she will be a great Queen. I hope the times will come when you will follow Rhaenys because you trust in her and not because your former king does so too."

"Loyalty will come in time if she proves to able. But I do respect her a lot for being able to command such respect from others." Edmure glances back at the Targaryen group, "I do believe it would of been best if she had removed the head of Ariel Targaryen though."

Passionate rage burned in Euric's eyes as he heard the name of the Targaryen pretender, but otherwise he remained calm. "Her grace decided to be lenient, a notion I cannot agree with. If the time comes for something to be done against the woman I will however be at the very forefront."

"Why should we wait for such things to happen. Do you not think immediate action should be taken."

Alysanne was riding on her new courser, observing men and changing words with whoever spoke to her every once in a while. The wind was in her silvery hair and sent chills down her spine, but she didn't actually care. Ser Gerald said something insignificant and she turned her face towards the sun, closing her eyes, thinking.. or dreaming.

"If we move now it will look like we are disregarding out Queen's decision...." He looked down and clenched his fist. "As much as I wish to see the woman dead, I must wait until my Queen commands it... or at least tells me I am free to do what I want."

Rhaenys rode at the head of the force, the Targaryen loyalists behind her. She was surrounded by her bodyguards and personal servitors.

"Wiser in a sense. I would rather avoid more war but it is your choice."
