"Would you rather have a small council or face every man and their dog's petitions yourself?" Euric asked with a chuckle. "Though I agree with you. However, the one's with the biggest petitions will likely gawp like fools when they see that there probably isn't much left of Westeros to take..."

Alysanne heard some talk about Ariel quite close behind her and recognized one of the voices. Just to be sure, she looked back and smirked at the sight of Dayne and lord Dawnrose, whatever his first name might be.

Euric shrugged and rode up to Alysanne. "Good morrow fair princess." He greeted with humor in his voice. "How is the ride treating you?"

"A wedding?" Euric asked, only partially surprised. "Though I do not think I need to guess who the bride and groom are. Your sister is sure about this?"

"Rhaenys is resolute. It may be best not to mention anyone tho, I'm not sure if they are in mind to make it public yet," she said, glancing at her sister.

"I shall stay as silent as a tree." Euric affirmed with a smile. "Though I am sure Rhaenys has spoken to you and your other sisters about possibly marriages, no?"
