Ser Galahad rides sentinel for near the full day beside the prince. When dusk falls, his shift switches and three kingsmen replace only him.
He begins to roam the march, observing his fellow soldiers. He finds himself by the head of the march.

The commander of the rearguard is informed who the party's identity and purpose. The commander is also informed of their wish to meet with the King at his earliest convenience, perhaps when the army is encamped for the night.

Lord Winister Oakheart, Lord Craych Tyrell and 200 mounted knights approach the camp. The two Lords are brought to the King's pavilon where he leaps to his feet and does a small dance. Then runs and embraces Oakheart kissing the man on either cheek. "You are one of my best men Oakheart, and Smallwood thinks you have won the war for us."
Yancey Smallwood steps forward and looks down at Tyrell, "You have only sinned in speech Tyrell, there is a way back to the righteous path. Will you take it?"

Yancey turns toward the queen, "I will not. You quiet down Harpie. I thought you loved your husband and child." He pointed at Craych, "And that man is the key to saving both of them. If you can not control your self, go feed your child."
King Rodrick stepped up and almost casually smashed his large fist across Yancey's face. Then he pulled his sword and looked at Tyrell, and smiled.

Rodrick continued to draw his blade, and then licked his lips, "So Lord Tyrell, what does our future hold? Blood? Or Wine? I will be having more fun then you either way."
Yancey stood and looked at the Queen. When he he caught her eye, he spit a bloody stream in her general direction. Then he turned his burning eyes back to Craych.

Ser Galahad stepped forwards beside the Queen as Yancey glared at the queen. He returned the man's glare, his hand resting on one of his sword's pommels as they lay on his hips. As the man spat, Galahad's eyes narrowed, almost beckoning the man to do more.

The King smiled, "It had better not take to long Craych. I love battle and always find myself in the heart of it, I could die at any time."

As Galahad reached the party, they were only beginning to retreat. He quickly made his way to the Royal tent with his six comrades and personally spirited away the royal family. He took them from harms way, and later brought them to King Rodrick himself.
To his own surprise, he was greatly saddened when he learnt of Lord Commander Allyrion's death. He had taken a great liking to the man, and felt that of the Twelve, he was one whom he could speak with. He did not know where this put him now.
