I don't know, I guess I am regent, although we have always chosen our own, although in this case it might be better not to roll the dice. We will all be stuck in King's Landing, so that kind of rules out going back to Xenophobia. I am also at a lost of what to do with my Septon character. Looks like the Crow and Smith might be plotting a Wilding invasion, next. Although the North should handle that on their own. We probably should try and make nice with the Mander although I doubt that Rowan will be interested.

Ok, I passed in a scenario about having a son be born, so that's cool; I'll likely send my family back to Horn Hill soon and then go and quietly join them after the tourney, hopefully if Rodrick lets me. How's your investigation going? Do you want any help with that while we're all in King's Landing? I can send Ryam Flowers over your way too, I'm sure he could be at least somewhat useful.
Should we bother making friends with Lord Oakheart, since he rules the Mander now his opinion is most important. It doesn't look like Roose is that active so I dunno if he can be reliable.

So, what do we say when Tallahar comes to ask for our fleet? I'm inclined to tell him to fuck off, but it's your call, pretty much.

I have a question. The Redwyne fleet was the most numerous in Westeros( save for the Ironborn), while the other lords had virtually no naval power. How is that now? Oh, BTW, if you've seen my skills you could tell me how could I be of any help. BTW, I've seen that somewhere you said that your characters act straight and fair, but Alexander grew up through the intrigues of the Free Cities, so he doesn't hesitate to use more sneaky means to accomplish his goals. If that would help, I'd be most pleased.

Alexander, the Arbor Fleet is still 2nd only to the Ironborn. We play it honorably but we have one of the largest spy rings in the game. Francis Varner was Master of Whispers and his agent Flea continues to run it. So sneaky is not a problem.
Naval Battle would be a useful skill or working on Battle and weapons. I think you can use Battle for both land and sea battles but you might have a slight minus.
If Tallahar comes and asks for our fleet, I will probably start off cordial and then he will say something to piss me off so I will tell him to go screw himself. His characters never know their place and will always get themselves in trouble.

I wasn't sure if we still had the same spy ring after the war. I don't have any skill for battle, and it's kinda late to modify them. Maybe I should post a scenario to begin( it will be probably a slo progress, but better than nothing, right?). But I mean that I wouldn't have problem to partake on a Red Wedding, or use poison( yes, yes, from Westerosi point of view it's a woman's weapon, but poisoning is GREAT. period).

Poison users are loathed by the Far Reach since we lost thousands of men in Sun Spear due to the Dornish poisoning our soldiers. Loren's Father, (Alexander Irwyn) lost his best friend there and ended up burning most of SunSpear to the ground because of it. Well that and his wife was tortured to death by Horas the Poisoner. While that doesn't mean you can't be a poisoner, if Loren ever finds out about it, its going to be a major problem. If you even suggested it he would probably cuff you for it.
Most Lords in the Far Reach are openly opposed to the use of poison as a weapon against anyone so take that to heed when broaching the topic.

Lol, poisoning enemies would grant me the eternal loath of my allies!!!! Bah, after all that's why I love the Starks in the novels. Ok, thanks. Anyways I didn't had any intention to start singing it through the realm with my lute, but I'll take heed.

I have had the most wicked thought. I'm inclined to hone the skills of Arymidon, in case he should be capable to win us the next war. He could invent things( that's why I gave him all these skills about knowledge. Not now, but if I ever make him a Master-Grandmaster engineer and mathematician it'd be great. Archimides routed the whole Roman fleet). In realistic style of course( no rocket launchers), but he could design better walls for Oldtown and better( armored/ better sailing/ bigger, take what you want) ships, artillery etc. This could secure us a huge advantage. And some victories as well. I hope, at least.

I had a 2nd with Legendary Engineer, Constructing. I wanted to build a rope bridge across the blackwater to help in a war and even then it failed. Those skills are more for color, the only ones that really matter are:
Battle (or Naval Battle) Tactics (Ambushing, Scouting etc, used like battle for their area) Weapon (including Archery, Crossbow) Unarmed Jousting Espionage Political Intrigue (maybe but not really since its all pvp) Horsemanship (not really but we do have races from time to time) Sailing (Same deal)
Oh and the Magical Skills (Green Sight, etc) but those are for followers of the Old Gods
Every other skill you work on is important as status. Like if your Expert in trade it might have an influence with NPC's but not really since there is no economy.
Just my advice.

It's not like any wars are imminent on the horizon though, Rodrick really kind of put us in our place with the last one, thanks to a certain someone's Septon *cough* Alexander, you'd be best off going with espionage and intrigue; build up your spy networks anywhere you deem necessary in both scenarios and PMs with the Smith. It would be nice if Engineering worked practically, but it really doesn't as battles would get absurdly complicated. That said, Tallahar asking for our fleet is a non-issue now, since the Ironborn are solidified in the shields. I kind of wish we had Southshield, but there's no way we can get it from them without taking it. Maybe their pirates will fuck up and we'll have to invade, but I don't know about that. Loren, you should add your men to the melee before it's too late ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

I added Loren, even though he isn't really much for tournaments he is kind of sworn it off since Justin, Cyrus and Robb died but I put him in anyways.
