This isn't going to stop them only bleed them a little before they get here. Its a delaying/ annoyance measure. We absoloutely do not want our forces to get caught or engaged.

"We don't have to many left to muster cousin if we get all the men together we can crush the far reach then worry about the other two we cant fight a war on three fronts so we have to pick one and I say its the Far Reach." Leave it to the Mander to pick the absoloute worse candidate to go after first. Despite the Stormlands in Chaos, and a West that has already committed North they are going to attack the largest force that has dug in with no intention of moving. Brilliant!

I think he's pissed off because I was burning his crops and shit. I agree with the idea of assassinating a Manderlord, namely Rowan who would be the biggest threat to us.

Looking at the Army Disposition that Samuel did we are looking at just over 40,000 Mandermen if they all March which they won't since they will fear the Ironborn. However, even if they did march with a full 40,000 I think we would have great chances defending with 30,000 at Horn Hill. We should be pressing for a 10 to 1 loss ratio at a minimum.

I think we have them right where we want them. Blacktyde has the shields; so the Mander only has 13 ships left to them, all the others have been destroyed. Hopefully Harlaw catches them as they flee up the Mander, but they're in a bad position. If they move to attack us, Blacktyde can sail up the Mander and either take them from behind, or if we're lucky even capture Highgarden. I think we should be looking for any allies in the Mander at all; which of Craych's lords are the least loyal to him?

Not sure that there are any? I am pretty sure that Smith has decided we need a Mander Far Reach faceoff so most efforts to avoid enhance our position don't seem to work. Not sure that any would answer our calls. The question is what do we have to offer?

Heh, yeah, it didn't really work on Rowan. I think we need to have him killed.

Yeah I'm considering the matter. I don't know what the repercussions would be. Smith may take whatever moral highground we have and punish us with troop losses or something

Can we make it look like Breck did it? I know he's our ally, but Cedric seems to have set the note for that, so it would be believable around the realm. Or maybe sign it Cedric?

I am just touchy now about assasinating generals, even NPC ones. It seems dishonorable and while we know the Mander is led by a bunch of retards we should be a lot closer to them.

Prester just got fucked up by Rodrick, but he bloodied the King and brought him down to 9000 swords. If the Royces can move against him, or the North army under Cerwyn, which could end the conflict right there.
However that brings up the question, what does that mean for us in terms of our image? We essentially started this war and if it ends before we fight at all, that might make us look bad to the other kingdoms.

I don't think the Vale can beat Rodrick.
I suppose the question is, do we think the Mander ever intends to march? I think they will. They are stupid enough .But they may be too afraid of the Iron Born to leave Highgarden.
My only concern is that Hornhill is both our first and last line of defense. If we fail there, we're out of the war.

Then I say don't fail. And Samuel, screw the other kingdoms, thus far the only fighting has been done by people who haven't declared against Rodrick with the Exception of Breck trying to lose men taking Keeps. This war is not going to end with the defeat of Rodrick, we will have to defeat the West and the Dornish and the North if we intend to pull Westeros back together. The thing is we will hopefully be at full strength and everyone else not.
It would really be beneficial to find a way to free Craych (maybe the Crow will allow it) because if he is free and we marched with the Mander then we could return peace to the whole kingdom.
