"I would suggest a long Siege of Dragonstone. Or if he is foolish enough single combat."

"Still should be no match for our combined fleets," Alexander pauses. "What do you think Prince Avery's goals are? Has the man just lost his fucking mine or is his actions some part of a larger plot? What were the results of the trial?" Alexander felt completely lost with the politics of King Landing have spent a greater part of 2 years in Dorne.

"The Adrian Sunglass he presented us was determined to be a pretender." Said Coldiron.
King Rickon coughed slightly.
"Prince Avery is in rebellion. Can we talk him into surrendering?"

"If there is any way to do it I think it would be better then trying to storm Dragonstone with an adequate defending force. The Ironborn lost thousands taking The Tor and the Dornish had only 500 men. A direct assault will cost may lives."

"I do not wish any more loss of life than is necessary. Do you think we could demand his presence again? Last time he had the excuse of the storm, but now that is no excuse?" Rickon said, his voice hopeful.

"Well I have no soft spot for traitors," the Butcher of Sunspear said stating the obvious, "but the idea of losing 15,000 brave men for this man does not seem very wise. What would the minimum punishment be that you could accept my grace?"
Alex waits, if the Keep had been anywhere but Dragonstone he would have been adamantly opposed to any leniency but Prince Avery was an idiot and Alex did not feel comfortable letting good men die for an idiot."

"I have been told, that previous leniencies may have led us to this situation." Rickon said, looking unsure as he gazed up at Benfry. "Naturally he could take the black, that is our tradition."

Alexander nodded, it was true that traitors seemed rewarded more then loyal subjects.
"Okay then the only question left is short and bloody or long and drawn out? I suggest we try a blockade, sending agents to infiltrate the keep and burn the granaries and other stockpiles and if that fails we pay the blood price. Everyone must learn their is a consequence for your actions."
