Brandon smiled warmly at Lord Tarly, "It has been a long time since Godsgrace, Lord Tarly"

"Yes indeed Brandon, I hope you are... as well as can be expected?" Tarly said with a smile.

"I am well, there wasn't much fighting, fleeing an inn on fire... nothing I haven't done before," Brandon chuckled. "How is your Lady wife, any small Tarlys running about?"

Robb smiled grimly. "I'm expecting to see my first born when I return from this place."

"Congratulations," Brandon smiled. "What happens now? With the armies I mean".

Ser William looks at the travelers then speaks up, "We can either move onto Deep Den or take Casterly Rock. I suggest we try Deep Den the siege must be broken."

Rodney Blackbar nods, "William is right, I say we leave a small component hear to put the reptiles in Casterly Rock under siege and march the rest of the force to Deep Den on the morrow." The Lord of Bandallon played with his trademark black mustache.
"Lord Redwyne's been here a couple of weeks as well and seen no sign of the enemies ships so they must have all gone to Seagard, he has suggested we move to strike the Iron fleet while they are in port."

Danwell quirked an eyebrow at the last comment. It struck him as slightly foolhardy for Redwyne to assault the combined fleets, even whilst at anchor but he was no admiral and this whole business of commanding armies was out of his experience so he assumed they all knew what they were doing. He cleared his throat and replied to them "Well, I suppose we can come along my lords, though quite what use another 12 men will make to your army is questionable. Still, we found out little here and as their fleet has gone, there's no reason for us to remain here either" Danwell seemed a bit at a loss of what to do next.

Patrek nodded, "That sounds reasonable, the remaining armies of the West should also converge at Casterly's Rock soon, so they will be able to take the Rock back. Then there is Golden Tooth, the foreigners must have moved past that and into the Riverlands to team up with the bastard Ironborn." Patrek growled at that. "Has there been words from Lord Tully or Lord Stark?"

Lord Blackbar shook his head, "None, communication of any kind has been sparse, orders were coming from every which way, the Traitor Erik Coldiron had ordered most of the Arbor Fleet to Lannisport in hopes of destroying it. We were lucky they were too craven to fight, although the word is there ships are not very capable and the entire Ironborn force marches with the enemy."
He turns to the twelve men, "I wish their was some special task we could have you accompolish, but besides providing us information on the enemies forces at Seagard or Riverrun the best help would be to fight with us at Deep Den."

Verden much preferred the idea of fighting with a force of thousands, rather than snooping around behind enemy lines with just another eleven men for company.
"He has a point ser," he said to Danwell. "We've learnt very little on our expedition so far, surely our talented fighting men would be better serving with the rest of the army."

"I suggest leaving 10,000 Far Reach troops here to protect the city and if they desire lay siege to Casterly Rock. While the rest of us march upon Deep Den." William looked back at the army, "Well that is what I am doing with the Mander force we must march soon. So will the Far Reach march with me?"

Maxwell walks over and looks at the highborn lords. Eating some jerky he looks at the men and listens to them talk. After a minute he notices he's covered in dirt and god knows what else. " Um, sirs where can I get a bath", Maxwell says quietly," and who are you people."

Lord Blackbar looks irritated at the young William. "I already told you what we were going to do. The Reach and Mander march on to Deep Den and the West will stay here thats what are orders were and I see no reason to adjust things now. Leaving 10,000 men here would be a waste of good fighting men when the enemy is already halfway to Lord Harroway's town."

Maxwell looks at Dan and whispers between bites, " Lets go see if anyone has put up another inn. " " Or you can stay here with these lords and argue all day."
