"As for food, and musicians, and... other decorations, milord?" the lady said with a smile.

"Well I think that around the seven towered High tower in the center we have the colors of the other Houses, so we would have a pavillion for the Varners where Stoatheart is relative to the hightower and one for Brightwater and The Arbor as well. So we represent the entire realm in its truest sense. Each Lord and Lady would be responsible for the fare of their own pavilion, although I guess we would need to appoint a master planner to ensure there is no clash in colors and no duplicate in food." Alexander says matter of factly. "Of course this would have to be a lady with impeccable taste", he looks at Lady Anne with the please help me look.

Lady Anne winked. "Well, if you insist milord, I would gladly do my duty." she said with a smile.

"Great then, you have the full weight of the Hightower behind you, isn't that right Lord Justin," Alexander says to the young Hightower.

"Yes Lord Alexander. I think we need to do a good job, so that people know we are just as important as Highgarden or the Cardskull Rock."
"Casterly Rock," corrected Maester Alesander dutifully.
"Oh. Sorry Uncle Ales, Casterly Rock."

"If not more important," Alexander adds, "it is no coincidence that the Far Reach, since its creation, has been on the side of the King at the beginning of every conflict. We are as steadfast as the light on top of this tower, always the shining example to others in the realm, shining bright on the dark days as well as the light and never asking for anything more then to do our duty when required and live in peace." Alexander looked at the other dinner guest and realized he was being pompous.
"I am sorry" he says sheepishly, "I have been reading too many books while I was in Dorne."

Shauna clapped happily, "yeaa daddy!" She said loudly.
"He's not your daddy stupid," said Cyrus sharply.
"Cyrus, be nice to your sister." Lady Anne said. "She probably recognizes you better than Francis... that's all" Anne said embarrassed.

Alexander smiled, "Well it will be your mother who has done all the hard work, Shauna, although her efforts will reflect well on all of us."

"Lord Irwyn.." said the young Hightower, "Do we have many friends among the other Lords?"

"Friends are hard to come by Lord Justin, as it is more of a temporary alliance then real friendship between the great houses. Of all the Houses, I would say we are best off with the Royce's, Lady Anne's family, we had a decent relationship with the Ironborn, at least with Lord Harlaw, who has since passed, as strange as that sounds and I would count many in the Stormlands as friendly." Alexander pauses.
"We still have a tenuous relationship with the Mander although that has improved slightly and the new leadership in the West is better equipped to be on friendly terms. The riverlands and Dorne will be resentful for some time thanks to our part in their subjugation and we have never gotten along with the North whether it was the Bolton's or the young Lord Roose."

"We should make new friends, but not at expense of old ones. At the wedding please do your best to make good friends, with whoever you think appropriate. If everyone in the Vale is like Lady Anne, than start with them."

"Thats good advice young lord although, you will have the opportunity to make friends yourself. The King and his bride are about your age and us old folks won't live forever." Alex finds it a little strange to refer to himself as being old when he was still under 30.

"I will do my best to be socshoe.." He looked at the Maester.
"Sociable, milord, I think is the word you want." Alesander replied.
"Yes thank you. Friendly also." Justin said. "Can Cyrus and the twins come too?"

"Well yes they would be expected to come as well. I will need someone as my partner for the treasure hunt," Alexander says with all seriousness.

"Well alright than. When should we leave do you think? Maester Alesander says a Lords coming and going should always send a message. Isn't that right Ales?"
"It is milord."
"Well than when should we come, and what are we saying?"
