Alexander laughed, "Well it could be arranged mi lord, but I think you will likely want to spend your time as a single man a bit longer," Alexander looked over at Lady Anne, "Once your betrothed you have additional responsibilities. There will be plenty of time for us to find you a suitable wife."

Lady Anne looked at Alexander, and than looked at her plate. Maester Alesander hrummphed in support, while Lord Justin just seemed mystified.

"Not so new milord," says Lady Anne, "The womenfolk are pleased to have their men safe home again... those who came home safe. Although I suppose you won't have much rest, since we'll have to return to King's Landing for the King's Wedding."

Alexander scowled, damn I just can't get away from that place he thought. "Of course, the King's wedding is all he muttered, has the date been set?"

"Still several months away milord, but there's to be a large tournament by day, and banquets by night. Each... region is responsible for planning one, and I'm afraid to say, that ours is to be held on the first day."

"Ha, well they should of have saved the best for last, but never-the-less we will ensure free flowing wine from the arbor. I understand it is to be a theme party?" Alexander says with feigned interest.

Lady Anne nodded, obviously excited about the prospect. "Yes milord. I was hoping something that would speak to the character of of our home, and of our gracious Lord." She nodded at Lord Justin, who was too busy playing with his capon to answer.

Alexander sat in thought, "Well it is challenging with so many rich traditions for our young realm already it will be impossible to capture them all. Of course I fear we must balance fun with security as their are still many enemies about," Alexander says fully well he is being a party pooper and dampening the mood.

Anne sighed, "Yes, that's one area where Francis left his stamp upon our little homeland isn't it? The North have their Old Gods, and the Iron Island's their drowned one, for in the Far Reach, we worship Security." She reached out across the table and patted Alex's hand to soften her jest.

"Yes well Security is a cruel mistress as the more you worship her the less safe you feel," Alexander says smiling, "sometimes you just have to do your best and trust in the Smith's Plans."

"And so what shall be our plan, for this feast?" Lady Varner asked.

"Well for most, Oldtown is the Far Reach and with the completion of our road network that Francis had built many years ago all roads in the Reach lead there so it would be proper to celebrate the Far Reach and our Lord with a Celebration in Oldtown, including a mock High tower as the centerpiece for our party."

Anne clapped her hands, "Oh that seems delightful. And we are known for our builders as well after all."

"This is true," Alexander said with a smile. "I think we will have to get them started right away though as 3 months may challenge even our men, and I would like a good sized tower and not some minor toy looking one."
