The wooden holdfast appears to be well built, the wall is roughly 10 feet high and a tower stands in the center. From the Tower the standard of House Hightower is hoisted.
The holdfast looks to be able to accomodate as many as 50 men although there is no idea knowing how many are actually inside. Around the holdfast a few inns and shops have sprung up to support travelers making their way.
On the road stands a group of 14 men with swords and crossbows. They are talking amongst themselves though come alert when the Golden Rose of Tallahar Tyrell becomes visible. There is some inaudible cursing and then a shout.
"Oy who are you and what do you want?" A stout fellow calls out as him and his men grow tense by the large group of riders coming this way in unfriendly colors.

"If your Lord Tyrell then I am the Lord Hightower, 4 years old to the day," the man calls back, "Lord Tallahar Tyrell would know better then to ride into the Far Reach." The crossbowmen take cover behind a cart. "Who are you really?" The man calls back.

Shaking his head Tallahar raises his right fist and the men stop, "I am traveling to Oldtown to speak to the new Lord Regent. I come with the blessing of him and Lord Regent Rindwynd."

"Lord Tallhar Tyrell is a traitor, we've got strict orders to arrest him if he ever stepped foot into the Far Reach."
The man looks nervous, "You aren't some messenger right. . . your saying that you are Lord Tyrell, the Old Dawnraider himself."
The men start to talk amongst themselves although its obvious they are uncomfortable.

One of the swordsmen runs back to the gates of the hold fast. The rest of the men keep a wary watch on Tallahar's men.
OOC: Its going to be about fifteen minutes game time if there is anything you want to do while you wait.

Tallahar moves over to Bane, "How many do you think we would lose if we had to make a ride for it."
Bane looked at the older man, "Depends but 5 to about 10. It's the crossbows but it depends on how good of a shoot they are."
"OK... You stay with the men I will talk to this Ser Tomas alone."

As Tallahar approaches, the Knight squirms in his saddle. "Well, I'll be damned it is Lord Tallahar," Ser Tomas says to his squire, "I thought they were playing me for a fool."
He waves his hand and half of his force moves up towards where the original 9 men still stand to keep an eye on Tallahar's men the remaining 9 men stand behind him.
"Greetings Lord Tallahar, I never thought I'd see the likes of you again," the knight says this as if he had dealings with Tallahar before.
The soldiers are visibly nervous although Ser Tomas appears to be calm.
