The woman looked at this handsome stranger. "Oh I'd love to see Oldtown and the Hightower and the Starry Septs, it would be amazing compared to life here." She pauses and looks over to the kitchen where and older man is standing, "but then what would poppy do without me?"

"Well my sweet maid there are choices in life. You can come with me and see this land or stay here and grow fat and old."

"How do I know you won't leave me when I get there? I just met you." The woman says obviously interested in the chance to see something in this world.

"Because me beauty you are far to beautiful to leave you there. The gods would curse me if I did not honor my promise."Bane looks into the girls eyes promising much and asking so little. Bane's hand has moved higher up her leg.

The girl giggles and then grabs Bane's hand, "come on I want to show you something?" she says as she starts to pull Bane towards the front door of the inn.

Maybell pulls the man out the door of the inn and into the full view of the guards watching outside.
"Where do you think your going?" one of the crossbowmen calls out to Bane.
"I am showing him something," Maybell said before Bane could say anthing.
One of the men laughed, "can't you show him in the inn Maybell?"
"Thats where you showed me," another joked.

Bane smiles, "She is a proud woman and I would not think of running from her. Plus I have no weapon and no horse." His sword no longer mattered as Maybell pushed him further away from the laughs of the guards.

The guards shrugged, it was Tallahar that they were supposed to watch so what harm was it if some other guy got lucky with Maybell. "Allright just be sure to come back when your done and watch out you don't catch anything." They teased.
"Don't mind them" Maybell said "they are just jealous cause I turned them down." She led Bane towards the stables for a quick roll in the hay.

Bane enjoyed the roll in the hay a lot. The girl was young and very flexible. But he couldn't help but shake the feeling of betraying Alyssa. 'Stop fooling yourself Bane she said she didn't want you.'

From Maybell's actions it was obvious that she had some experience at what she was doing. She had probably slept with at least twenty or thirty different travelers, each promising to take her away from that two horse town but none of them ever did. This guy was nice though she thought, hopefully he would still be here when she woke up in the morning.
She rose to use the chamber pot, she hated how it burnt when she peed. She probably got something from the musician that had passed through a month ago.

///////// After about a weeks delay, a messenger comes to the Holdfast from Lord Irwyn, saying that Tallahar is allowed to continue traveling to Oldtown. He is permitted to travel with himself and 10 men, the rest are to be sent home. An escort of 25 Far Reach Soldiers is provided.
The note says that these arrangements are non-negotiatable. The bill for the stay at the inn for Tallahar and his men is paid for by Lord Irwyn, and he expresses his apologies for the "minor" delay.

Tallahar punches a wall in the room he is in, "These bastards. I am Lord Tallahar Tyrell I have fought for the Reach since I was 15. I raised the former Lord of Oldtown. I was Warden of the South. And they treat me like a criminal."
Bane lays a large hand on the Dawn Raider shoulder, "Men are strange creatures you can't control what they think."
Tallahar turns, "Pick 9 other men Bane then tell them to get ready to ride."
///////////////////
Tallahar Bane and 9 others are waiting outside the Inn for there escort and are mounted.

Maybell the inn keepers daughter is waiting outside her bags packed for the trip to oldtown.
She scratches herself and then smiles at Bane. "I can't wait to see the Starry Sept. Can commoners be married in it you think?" she says naively.
