At this news, forseeable as it may have been to one looking for it, Tristeza could not help but sigh audibly. Her country was in trouble--Surely Emelia knew? This was no game for inexperts like herself, she was beginning to see more and more clearly. Though Dorne had Braavos to its aid, and they were, by all accounts formidable in every military sense, support in the North was clearly, not something to count on.
Tristeza thought about trying to tempt him with promises of glory and power at the downfall of the King Regent, but he seemed to grounded a man to be blown away by such fancies--he had five children holding him safely to the ground. She shook her head despondantly.
"You seem a good man, Lord Tarly. I appreciate your time." She stood slowly, and walked, with the Lord Regent beside her, to the door. "Thank you for your consideration." she said graciously. "My man and I will be leaving immediately--your hospitality has been most appreciated."

"Tell Emelia to lay down her arms. The Reach and the Ironborn will crush the army of Dorne." Tarly advises, "If you need safety come here, even if we are at war I can guarentee you a safe haven."

A page offers a message to Lord Tarly, informing him that Lord Francis Varner is here, and seeks to speak with him.

Lord Varner is shown in to the Solar. Tarly looks up into Varner's eyes and then nods tiredly. "It is time to go to war."

Francis bowed his head. "I understand this was a difficult decision for you milord, and you have my thanks and my deep respect. I hope you can forgive my impatience and my impertinence over this matter. I'm pleased to report that The Vale and the Riverlands are united in marching on King's Landing, the Mander or at least portions of it are prepared to raise for King Rickon, and a plan is in place which may spare us war against the Dornish host."

Tarly nodded, "Francis take command of the war effort. I have no heart for it, and if we are to fight then we must fight with all our heart."

"Yes Lord Tarly. It will be done." Francis nodded. "I will be in contact with Lord Horas and whoever has command in the army, I presume someone from the Vale. You have made the right decision, and I will keep you appraised." Francis bowed. "If you have nothing further for me I will begin my preparations."
