Ryan nods. "You're welcome Tyrell. Warren and Tytos should be back soon, in a couple of weeks or so."

"Very good very good. That will give the boys sometime to get to know that place." He then turns and leaves the room.

Warren Blackwood stands in his solar, looking out over his army and waiting for the Frey to arrive.
"Lord Walder," Warren acknowledges the other man as he enters.

He quickly makes his way to the solar, removing his riding gloves as he enters. He greets Warren as though he were true blood, though the cousins are only connected through marriage.
"Lord Warren... you can see I'm not always a coward in the face of civil war. Had I not been in Pentos, I would've arrived earlier to combat the invaders. Which brings me to my reason for taking up your time..."
He produced a pair of documents, one in Pentoshi and the other in Westron, but both clearly signed by the Prince of Pentos. They described an arrangement where House Frey would be responsible for conducting Pentoshi business interests in the Seven Kingdoms.
OOC: The scenario is in the library, if you care to read it.

Warren skims the document briefly, then looks up at Walder. He frowns in confusion.
"What are you looking for, a congratulations, Walder? I don't care about your business interests so long as they aren't harming the Riverlands."

"I don't want congratulations, Warren, I want your support for Master of Coin against that Bolton dog Manderly. When this Braavosi crisis is over, we'll need to rebuild our relations with the Free Cities. If the Iron Throne wants to survive, they'll have to end their imperialist ways and finally learn how to play the game of coins before another threat arises because of our hard-handed politcs. I can give us our opening play into that game, cousin."

Warren snorts. "The Free Cities. We used to leave them well enough alone, and they returned the favor. Now we're warring with them every other year." Warren shakes his head in disgust. "Manderly's a moron, but his house hasn't declared with us or against us. Even I know we can't fire him if the Manderlys declare against Andry. If the North declares for Andry we can talk again."

"I understand Manderly hasn't left King's Landing. I can only assume he is dead or he betrayed us to save his skin. Currently, there is no Master of Coin, at least not one worth mentioning. Someone is probably scratching their head right now, wondering how to feed the troops required to retake King's Landng. It certainly isn't Manderly. I'm certain Horas can get me elected into a temporary position until the war is over. I'm confident I'll have proven my competence to the small counsel by then."

Warren shrugs. "Horas could make you the Master of Coins, but you'd have to talk to him, not me. I couldn't care less who counts the coppers as long as it gets done. But I will put in a good word for you."

"Thank you. That is all I would ask of you." He stands, replacing his gloves on his hands. "Now I must see that my troops settle in. I'm sure I'll be able to make it for dinner."

Warren nods. "Before you go, Frey. Will you be commanding your troops in battle personally, or do you have a lieutenant I should consult with on military matters?"

"I brought Ser Brynden with me, though his eagerness outweighs his competence, I fear. I'm certain he knows our forces better than I do, but I will be present when field movements are discussed."

Warren nods again. "Very well, Frey. I will summon both of you to any war councils I call. If you or your men need anything else, let me know."

Ryan Blackwood is in his solar when Mallery and Terrence arrive, looking out of a window at the view of the rivers around them.
"Mallery, Terrence," he greets them warmly, "Do you need something?"
