"Trial?" Seth inquired, scratching his head. He now noticed how odd it was that the three who were with him in the training yard were now here together.
"The two of you are on trial? Against one another?" He sighed. "Man, things mst have really gotten out of hand after I left the training yard."

When Steffon was brought before Callen the king was looking over maps of the North. When he saw who was there his face registered surprise, "Steffon? What are you doing here?" When he was told about a trial his face grew troubled, "the last thing we need right now is a trial. What are the charges?"

"The little snake tried to murder me," Kennos says. "Bettley said we needed you or Stark, so we're here."

Steffon shrugs at his brother's question, "Ser Kennos Keith believes I tried to have him assassinated, and wishes a trial. He's a stubborn, arrogant man."

Kennos laughs. "Aye, I'm stubborn and arrogant, but I'm telling the truth. I guess what I'm saying is, could you kindly let me cut off your brother's fucking head, Your Grace?"
"Although I suppose I could be content with a hand. Or two." Kennos grins again.

Balor broke in "Is there any proof to these accusations? Or mere mutual dislike?" he said softly.

"Oh, there's plenty of proof, squid, though I thought I'd wait for the trial," Kennos Keath says, "Though if you prefer we can just skip the bullshit and get to the part where I make the Prince bleed to death."

Callen studdied the two, "Regardless of what happened this trial can be settled after the North has been pacified," Before Kennos could argue he continued speaking, "And believe me there will be a trial. In the mean time, Ser Kennos, return to King's Landing to help shore up defenses there. Steffon, I need to talk to you."
Callen took his brother aside, "Steffon, perhaps it's best if we keep you and Kennos as far away from each other as possible." He told Steffon of Edmure's mission north, when he was done he looked deeply into Steffon's eyes. "I will not order you to due this, but if you choose to, go to the enclosure on the edge of camp. I leave in an hour for Moat Cailen, so this is goodbye for now." He embraced his kin, and then returned to the main room.
Once he was back he stood infront of the table set up for them. His squire came to his side and started helping him into his armour. "Once Moat Cailen has fallen," Callen said as he struggled to get a gauntlet on, "Tallahar you are to proceed north ahead of the main army and try to secure a parley with the Karstarks. Your wife is from their house is she not? Perhaps they can be persuaded to change sides, and if they do, a few others might as well."
He slipped on his spurs. "Randal and I shall link up with Barret Tyrell and move on Winterfell, with the stronghold of the Starks taken, and if Benjen's family is secured, we have a chance of ending this rebellion quickly." He slipped a belt over his surcoat, and stuck a knife and Fury in their respective scabbards. "We make for Moat Cailen now. My lords, may the gods, old and new bless this venture into the North." He turned and left for the camp.

After helping Ser Giles don his armor, Seth ran to dress himself for battle.
He had somewhat of a difficult time, the excitement of the looming battle making his moves less dexterous. He strapped his unnamed sword to his side and slid the string of his new bow over his shoulder. He knew he would see very little hand-to-hand combat as an archer, but the prospect of his fate was something that had his blood racing. This would be his first battle, yet somehow, he felt an odd sort of familiarity with it.
As he prepared to leave, he saw Ser Kennos again. Waving, he slid unto Leopard.

Kennos spits on the floor. "They said 'wait' in King's Landing, so I waited. I'm done waiting now. I'm not going to let the man who tried to kill me run around free for a fucking year so I can wait for your justice."
Kennos turns to Steffon and draws his sword, a motion that sets every guard in the room on edge. "Let's finish this here and now, princeling. If you don't have the courage, name another man for me to kill in your place."

"Sire" Balor made an effort at a bow "I shall see what ships I may scrap up to land some forces near White Harbour. If we can distract the enemy perhaps it may weaken the defenses around Moat Cailin, though they remain formidable". He gestured towards one of the other ironborn. "May one of my men accompany you to the area? He is no crannogman but having some men nearby who can pilot small craft and know something of sailing may yet be of some assistance to you? This is Karl Harlaw" he said, clapping a young ironborn on the back. "Do not let his age fool you, a more canny sailor will not easily be found"
Whatever the outcome, Balor leaves the Twins, heading for Kings Landing and his ship.

Ser Giles steps between Kennos Keath and Prince Steffon, while Ser Edrick steps in front of the King. "It is death to draw steel before your king," Ser Giles says. "What right do you have to bear your sword?"

"Right?" Kennos laughs. "This man tried to kill me. I have a right to try and kill him now, don't you think? If the situation was reversed, you can be sure as hell that ol' Kingy wouldn't let me go gallavanting around the north with murder charges on my hands."

Eddard Tully Frowned at Keath, "Which of our brothers do you want to kill you Keath. Your fight will never be with the Prince himself. Shall it be me. Or Oldflower. Decide?"
