Gwayne called for a servant to show the guards to the small barracks adjoining the manse, where his men are billeted, so they may be offered food and drink. In the meantime he bowed low to the queen and Mace.
"Your Grace. Ser. Be welcome to my home and hearth. My sister waits in the solar. I hope there was no trouble at the Red Keep?"

Mace tepped forward and offered his hand to Gwayne, "There was no trouble."

He accepted the offered hand and though he wondered why they were late - and had offered a possible explanation to save face all round - he supposed they were just making a point.
"It's no matter, the food won't spoil. Please, come through both of you."

"I am sorry for our lateness. It was my fault. My stomach was greatly unsettled." Rose said as they entered.

"I am sorry to hear that," Gwayne said at once. "Rest assured that I will do what I can to assist if Your Grace continues to feel unwell. I don't wish my guests to be unhappy. I'm told that honeywater settles the stomach, Your Grace, if you are interested? Or there's wine or ale."

Ser Leyton had been with his cousins, standing silently to Gwayne's left. He continued his silence aware of his place. He wondered if the queen dined with all of her important vassals. Perhaps she had just been subjected to a late lunch with Nymeria. That would explain her discomfort. Leyton smiled slightly as he played the scenario out in his mind.

"Some honeywater sounds lovely Gwayne." Rose replied and looked around. "Hello everyone." She gave a half wave to everyone.

Izzy appeared in the doorway and swept a curtsey to the young queen. "Your Grace." As she stood upright again she smiled briefly at Mace.
Gwayne, meanwhile, called for a servant. "Honeywater for the queen, and quickly." He then looked back at the Queen. "Your Grace honours our home with her presence. Ser Mace, will you take a drink?"

Mace replied, and smiled at Gwayne politely, "I will have some wine."

"Red or white?" Gwayne asked. "I know you have met my sister, Isabel, ser. Have you met our cousin Leyton?" He gestured at the young knight standing close by. "And Your Grace, I do not know you are acquainted with either of them?"
Izzy dipped another curtesy.

Rose replied, "I have not... it is a pleasure." She looked around and offered a small smile, while her hand went to cover her stomach.

Leyton smiled back, lowering his eyes to a point near her feet as he dipped his head again. He wondered if the queen should be considering eating if her stomach was in such discomfort.
