Lyssandra crossed her arms over her chest, "Then I just think we found a way of luring him here, if he was hungry and had a shipful of courtiers to entice him to King's Landing."

Edric laughed, finding the idea genuinely amusing. "Who would provide a ship and a crew, the Manderlys?" he asked, pretty sure that Lyssandra was aware of the falling out between their houses back at the Stepstones.

"If it is fitting yes, yes they can be the crew." She smirked. "Were you going to have one of those parties that the other houses are having? To .. celebrate?"

"I guess I am supposed to host one," he said, frowning. "I am quite possibly not cut out for this, but my foster sister might be of help. What do I have to provide, snow and giants? Are you hosting one as well?"

"No. At least I do not think so. I certainly wont be preparing it. By the time we host ours I think every one will be um...tired of parties. I arrange battle formations, not..social affairs."

"Hmm, that might be an option. Perhaps if I delay it long enough, everyone will forget about it," Edric said and leaned on a nearby boulder. "So," he began, waving at the half-ruined Dragonpit around them, "do you like the place?"

"I like it. It reminds me of home a little bit. The Rocks, the feel. It is a little bit lifeless but that does not bother me." She scanned the surroundings. "I think I prefer it devoid of dragons that could eat me."

"I agree," said Edric and walked over to her. "Although you have to admit it would be a sight to see." He met her eyes for a while before looking at her scarred neck. "You never told me what happened to you," he said in a quiet voice.

Her eyes flickered at him, not expecting such a question. "An accident when I was little," she replied hastily. "Some fire did not agree with me."

"And who set said fire?" he inquired, leaning in a bit as if to get a better look, but his eyes darted back to hers after a while.

"I don't know, it was probably an accident." She wasn't sure to back away or to simply let him inspect her injury something she did not want people seeing. "I was playing and got trapped in a room. I cried out but no one knew I was there. I was told I woke up some time later. Thankfully, the memories of pain have ebbed in my mind over time."

Edric backed away slowly, somewhat touched that she had told him her story. "That must have been a terrible experience. I am sorry," he said, shaking his head regretfully.

"Don't be, the experience made me what I am today. If I had stayed normal I would be offering fake smiles and jests at court with other braindead women. And I have an excuse to stick swords into men's guts; I'm crazy." She reached out and touched his arm.

"Is that what you are passionate about? I would hope you could make an exception when it comes to me," Edric replied, and was about to lean in if it had not been for the nearby guard.

She paused for a moment and only replied with, "Definitely," to him. She was too nervous to ask for what she wanted, if he would do a favour for her but after an awkward silence she did, "May I ask a favour of you?"
