"Not as impressive as it once was, surely. Nor as entertaining," he said, looking around the place regretfully. "What a pity. Shall I escort you back?"

"Oh I don't think that will be necessary," Nymeria said, snipping her fingers so her servants and guards would follow her.
"I expect you will be at one of the parties," She said in parting, before walking out of the dragon pit, her entourage trailing her. At the exit she turned briefly and offered Edric a smile, her behind wiggling slightly as she left.

"I suppose," he said, knowing that he had to give a party as well. The Lannister girl had probably forgot that they came up the same street so he waited for a while for her to leave.

Lyssandra walked down some steps and moved towards Edric trailed by her guard.

Edric clasped his hands behind his back and walked up to the princess, giving her a warm smile. "What brings you here?" he asked. "Did not know you were in town."

She did not bring up that she had seen him with a young woman, that would not have been nice. "Death...I always find myself in King's Landing because someone had died. So you did not return to Winterfell after all."

"I did not," he said. "I thought I would do a little sightseeing around here before I left. But turns out my presence here will benefit my house, seeing as my lord brother will be too busy to attend the coronation. What brings you to Dragonpit?"

"Something similar to what you intended to do. Some exploration. I did not take the time to see much of the city on my previous visits. And, well, I have not done much this time either. You have found me on a rare occassion outside my manse." She shrugged. "I speak for Dorne now so it seems we are in a similar position while we are here."

"Ah. Speaking of Dorne, the girl that left here was one of your Lannister relatives. I believe she said something about visiting your brother," Edric said.

"I have never met any of my relatives." She shrugged as she thought about meeting her sister's children. "I do not enjoy the prospect of it. Is that odd?"

"Honestly? Not really," he said, keeping his bastard sister and her Bolton family in mind. "Sometimes it might be better to just keep a healthy distance."

Lyssandra gave a small smile. "That seems a wise thing to do. Especially with any annoying family members. You can only get so far away when you live in the same keep." She looked around, "Where is your direwolf? I think he would find only rats to eat around here."

Edric grinned a little. "So she does smile," he said, but decided not to make too big a deal out of this. "I sent him back North with my brothers. I rather regret it now. I am pretty sure he is slightly mad at me for it as well." He sighed. "Surely I could have made it work somehow, but at the time it seemed easier to just send him back. I was going to return as well, but now I suppose I am stuck here for a while."

Lyssandra quirked an eyebrow, "Maybe you should send for him. He seems like an excellent companion to have. I could probably understand him better than most of the courtiers in the keep."

Edric chuckled a bit. "Send for him? And who do you think could fetch him, you? He barely listens to me and my siblings, there is no way of knowing what he shall do to some guards. Especially when hungry." He paused for a while, looking at the princess. "That is exactly how I feel."
