Rose put the book down and smiled at Royce, "It has been quite a while, and everything has changed."

Jennalynn tried to offer the Queen a sympathetic smile, understanding that the girl had been thrown into a den of wolves without any real guidance from her father to be able to wear her crown without letting the wolves move to near. Rose had never been the kind of girl that liked large gatherings or people in general, she had always seemed to have found solace in her books, which was one of the reasons that Jennalynn had bought the books for her childhood friend, no longer the same person as before even if she still looked to seek comfort in her books.
"Yes, Your Grace. Unfortunately that is a part of growing up and something we just have to accept. I would love to return to the easy childhood years where we sneaked off to the kitchens to steal some lemon-cakes or go up one of the towers to find a secluded spot to read. Those were the best years of my lives so far, but we always have to move forward and accept the changes life offer us. I wish there was something I could do to ease the changes for you." she said offering the Queen another smile. "I found these hidden away in one of the bookshops down at the docks, I can't say if you have read them already, but I know that stories and fables always used to cheer you up as a child."
Jennalynn pushed over the three books she had brought with her for the Queen. The was a thick volume with a green leather binding with a large dragon in black upon the cover, the title reading: The Chronicles of A Reborn Dragon, written by a dornishman of House Jordayne. It looked like it hadn't been opened for a long time. The second book was a much thinner one with a dark red leather binding, the title reading: The Common Areas of Habitation of The Firewyrm: New Speculations, written by a Maester Belding. This didn't seem to have been opened for a while. The last book was a medium-sized book in white leather binding with a red seven-pointed star upon it, the title reading: The One Thousand Ways of Finding Peace Within, written by a Septa Clarissa. This book however looked to have been opened recently, but still looked old enough.
