Lyssandra smiled a little bit. "A dog; a gift I would guess. There are always a few cats around the manse, quite annoying compared to dogs. Are you going to the tourney in Oldtown your grace?"

Rose looked sad, "I will see what I can do." She was quiet a moment, and then added, "Are you sure you are doing what is best for your people? My grandfather is livid about that marriage."

"I think so," Lyssandra began to explain, "and he might feel threatened among other things. He spoke to me before, some time ago, but did not reveal his feelings for myself or Dorne." She shrugged, "We had the same problem you and I, not many men to choose from that are suitable."

Rose sighed, "My Grandfather thinks that I should offer my hand to Oswyn." Her cheeks reddened and she stared at the board in apparently deep concentration.

"Aenys likes him, but he has always been taken in by a pretty face. My Grandfather though... he is a man who can see into the soul of other men. He has not taken a liking to Oswyn. Says he is all ambition." Rose replied.
