Realization dawned on Oswyn's face as he hurried after her.
"Apologies, Your Grace, I did not mean to pry." he said softly. "I was merely concerned. Is everything alright?"

Ser Myles Crabb of the King's Guard stopped him as he tried to enter the Queen's Apartments.
Rose turned around, and did not make eye contact. "Thank you, Oswyn. It is nothing." She turned to continue on her way.

Princess Lyssandra arrived with a folded up cyvasse board under one arm. She asked the steward and the guards if she would be let in to see the Queen.

The guard went in to check, and then Lyssandra was admitted. Rose was reading a famous tome on the game of Cyvasse as Lyssandra entered.

"Good, now you can practice." Lyssandra removed the board from under her arm and unfolded it. The pieces were held inside underneath and so she set the pieces up in silence. Lyssandra took the initiative and went first. She had every intention of winning in as few moves as possible.

Rose studied the move, and said, "Is that a Polliver's Gambit." She studied the board, "I hear you are engaged." She made another move.

Lyssandra nodded and looked down at Rose's hand. "It had to be done. Barring any accident, we will be married in a few months. He intends to stay in King's Landing on your council, and I intend to return to Sunspear. An odd relationship."
