She bestowed her warmest smile upon him as she laid her hand on his.
"I don't have time to ride every day, but every two or three days will be possible, if you can accept that. Every lady enjoys sweet words and gifts, of course. I will not refuse you the right to bestow those upon me. I only hope my company is reward enough for you."

She laughed delicately at that. "Of course you would. I knew that. You are not the first man to say such things, nor do I expect you to be the last. But I am no horse to be ridden when some man bids. You shall have to put some effort into it, my good knight."

""I'd sooner you didn't kill anyone on my behalf. At least not yet," she replied. "But you are very welcome to try to win my heart. I believe I shall enjoy your efforts."
She toyed with the ends of her hair. "Have you been at Court long?"

"Not long then. We shall have to make friends together. Starting with each other."
She drew him into a shady corner. "I have never met your lady. What is she like?"

Prince Evan Martell entered the room, seeing the prominent of Kings Landing, all standing around googling and grinning at each other their fake smiles and even faker rhetoric. He was dressed in his Dornish best for the weather and climate of Kings Landing.

After a while, he spotted a woman perhaps his own age, or a little younger, standing a short distance away. She had fair hair and paler skin than was commonly found among his Dornish brethren so it seemed likely that she was not Dornish. She was very pretty and her dress clung to her figure in all the right places. She caught Evan's eye and beckoned him towards her.

He saw the woman and walked towards her,"Yes my lady, how may I be of service?" Evan stared at her, how pale she was, he first thought. Seemed to him that she is bad need of some sun, but her hair was beautiful.
"I am Prince Evan Martell."

Her smile was bold and sensual. Her blue eyes sparkled, and he could see that she was probably of Andal descent, with possibly some Valyrian thrown in. She held out her pale hand for him to kiss. She wore rings on the three larger fingers.
"I am Amanda Rhysling, lord prince."

Evan grinned, taking her hand and bending to kiss it lightly, making sure not to bump the rings. "Rhysling... Ah yes, I have heard of your family line", he looked at her,"Now all that remains to ask is why a Reach woman would go out of her way to greet a Dornish man?"
His resolve to be a gentleman was apparent, as he stood looking at her. "You should be proud, the Tyrells have managed to get married into the Royal House."

"Yes, it is true. Though I myself don't benefit from such things. I'm not married to a king or prince, after all." She laughed. "I like to meet new people, lord prince. I do not care that you are Dornish. Well, only if you care to help me make the eight." She winked.

"Interesting to hear... I myself am not married." he bobbed his head,"not for a very long time, but I do not shy away from making new friends either."
Evan then shook his head with a smile, as she winked,"And no my lady Rhysling, making the eight was not one of my better endeavors." He chuckled at her boldness,"But please allow me to be a gentleman and perhaps get you a drink."

"That would be very kind," she said. "I am pleased you Dornish are nothing like my nurse told me. You are really very gallant. But hurry back, if you will!"

"But of course. I am sorry to disappoint, If you were expecting a brute savage", he chuckled lightly. Evan looked at her but he was not surprised, he knew the horrid, awful stories that were told of his people.
He left her for a moment, reached for two glasses of Dornish Red and returned to Lady Rhysling,"For you my lady, I am sorry it is not Arbor Gold, but I do not care for it myself, and you did not specify what you wanted.."

"Not everybody does," she acknowledged. "Dornish Red is as good a wine as any. Truth be told, it was the first wine that ever made my head spin. Ah, sweet memory!"
She raised her glass in a toast. "To new friendships."

"It is truly the only wine I will touch, especially her in Kings Landing." he smiled. "It is more particular to my tongue being that I was raised on it."
Raising his glass to hers,"Yes, of course to new friendships." In the back of his mind, he could not tell if this woman was genuine in her course or if she was trying to gauge him as he was trying to do the same to her.
