Gerion's face coloured as Lord Royce intervened. Where was he 5 minutes earlier he thought darkly as he watched Benfry Hill lead his son away. Tynian looked back and, seeing his father's expression, quickly looked away. One day I'll settle with that bastard he thought to himself. He'll learn what it means to step on the tail of the lion! he continued, his thoughts still erratic after the shock of what just happened.
"Yes...yes, this was nothing you need concern yourself over, Lord Royce. Lord Hill was merely instructing my guards on the proper way to disarm an opponent" he glowered at Audric Clegane and the other guards as they sheepishly got back to their feet.

"Is that so?" Bayard replies, allowing a certain amount of his disbelief to enter his voice. The Lord Royce was blind, and even he had seen what happened. To be so shamed by a bastard, in front of all the realm.... It was not the sort of insult Bayard would let slide, if he was in Gerion's place. Then again, he could never imagine being in Gerion's place. "As you say, then. My compliments to your kin in the joust." He begins making his way back to his place in the stands.

Gerion's face coloured again as he caught the tone in Lord Bayard's voice. He merely grunted, not willing to see past the black his brother Petyr was wearing today. He's not winning for Lannister, he's winning for that fucking cunt! he threw another dark glance the way of Benfry Hill and imagined the sight of all his guards stabbing him over and over again.
Sitting next to Benfry, young Tynian Lannister kept glancing fearfully back at his father but once he realised that he was not going to come and retrieve him, he relaxed slightly sitting next to the large Lord Commander of the Night's Watch who had so impressively defeated his father's men. He knew he could never be that fast. "T-thank you for sticking up for me, Ser" he said quietly and cringed slightly, expecting another cuff around the head for speaking out of turn.

In the final match Ser Oswyn Baratheon faces Ser Petyr Lannister a ranger of the Night's Watch. Petyr has won several tournies over the years, but every one is abuzz about the skill of the Baratheon Knight. The two salute, and horses charge. Ser Oswyn take his long, hard lance and rams it hard against the Lannister. Petyr topples from his horse.
The black brother stands up laughing, and nods his head toward Ser Oswyn, "A good pass Ser. I will get you next time though."

Benfry smiled down at the kid, and said, "Son, I had a father very much like yours. He is not worth the piss of crippled plow mare. Always remember you are already ten times the man he ever was." He winked at the kid.

Tynian smiled shyly at the rare praise. "B-but didn't that make you strong like you are now?" he asked apprehensively. He wasn't sure all the beatings would be worth it, even to end up as brave & strong as the Lord Commander clearly was to him. "If I was like you, he wouldn't hit me and he'd love me as much as he loves my brother" he said sadly.

Harold makes his way to the Tully side and shakes his head free of the ringing of being knocked off so early. He shrugged at the attempt and looked around watching the joust continue.
