"It's lovely isn't, it? Every time I visit te city, I make sure to have a tea in this exact place..." Lady Eleanor smiled as the old memories filled blinded her vision and in all of them she saw the face of her late husband young and smiling, a tears came to her eyes, but she couldn't afford to cry when she had important matters to discuss.
"Silly me..." She said whipping the tears and forcing a chuckle. " I really need to control myself..." The widow took a sip of her tea. "We should go back to the matters than... My grandson Oswyn."

"Indeed, these are dark times in the capital..." She wondered why had the Lady of Lannister choked when she heard Oswyn's name. "That's why we can't afford to let the relations between our honorable families rust."
There was a pause, when a servant came with platter with cheese. She reached for one and nodded thankfully at him. "You have a daughter don't you...?"

"I'm not surprised at your reaction, my lady. I too found it repulsive at first..." She stopped and cleared her throat. "But imagine in, lets say, twenty years, the discrepancy won't be that...hmmm... That.... What's the word for it?"

"Ohh I'm sorry... I thought that your thing with the cheese... Never mind." She reached for a napkin and cleaned her lips. "I mean a betrothal. Oswyn and Amelia. You may find it's too soon, but it's would be profitable for us both." She stopped and sighed sadly.

Lady Eleanor took a sip of her tea and smiled proudly, finally she'd done something right. "It was an honor to parlay with you, my Lady of Lannister." There was a long silence, the widow stared across the gardens enjoying the sunlight and the fragrance of the flowers. "I believe, I'm starting to find your company utterly enjoyable. If you wish to leave and go home to your husband I won't hold you. But if you wish to stay and finish your tea..." She smiled.

OOC: No worries...
"Lonely..." She said mechanically, as if the word had no meaning. That word took her to a place in a long past, the day she went to Storm's End for the fist time. She remembered the dark cold corridors, she was young and afraid. But one thing helped her to hold on... "Lonely, yes... Even more recently..."

Doreah was well aware of Aurane's golden head suddenly leaning in closer and closer to her own--she could see quite plainly where this was going. Should she do something, was she supposed to say anything before it happened? What if her hair looked particularly disheveled from that angle? She wished she could have had a moment to push it a bit out of her face or something. She hoped he wouldn't try to take her other hand either, seeing as it was still covered in some slime from her first rock-skipping experience. Before she had to a chance to do anything at all, though, it was over. She stood frozen for a moment, her eyes still tightly closed and a bit shy to open. Her first kiss. It wasn't like what she had read in her books though. He hadn't professed his undying love for her on his knees before enveloping her in his big, strong arms, only to ride off and knock all the knights off their horses in the King's Tourney and crown her Queen of Love and Beauty . And he had somewhat missed her lips, in truth. But she couldn't help but feel a tingling in her stomach. His eyes were two gleaming jewels beneath his sunburst hair. He was as pretty as any knight she had imagined. Doreah managed to look up at Aurane. Though she didn't say anything aloud, she nursed a tiny, shy, abashed smile. ooc: aaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When Aurane saw Doreah smile he had to smile as well. He still held her hand and squeezed it again, then took the other, uncaring for slime. "I'm... sorry if you didn't like that but... I think I want to kiss you again." He couldn't help but grin now, staring into her beautiful eyes. "And maybe do it properly this time." Somewhere deep inside he couldn't believe what he was saying, or doing. Kiss a girl? More than once? Hold her hands? What was he doing!?!? This was not him, no. He sat in the library, forced to read books. He was in the yard half of the day, fighting and sweating until he collapsed on the ground. He did not kiss girls. Doreah's face was truly crimson now and she felt slightly faint, but she just nodded and let her eyes close. In her mind, she only saw a lion, his burnished mane crowning his head like roses. He was a king.

"My son... He tries his best." She sighed. "And my daught in law is long gone..." The widow didn't care much, she'd never liked her.

"Being honest... Both of them do." She said thinking of both her sons. "Since young Sammael was really close to his father, unlikely Yohn, who seemed always to prefer myself, though he was never really fond of demonstrating it." The lady smiled remembering all the lost years.
"Now Sam is Lord, just like his father, he has more important things to do than to mind over an old decrepit. And Yohn... Well... I can't say he never hugged me, but that was only once." She saw him smiling during his wedding night, the first and the last time though. "What keeps me holding are my grandsons, I'd be nothing without the lot of them. And believe me... They are many." She chuckled.

"He is. I believe his Great grandfather was a Royce himself... But I'm not actually sure." She loves to talk about her grandsons. "Well.. Yohn has two sons, the twins, they are 3... Almost the same age of your daughter aren't them?" She stopped and cleared her throat. "There's also Donal... I think I was the only one to ever treat him as equal to the others..."
"It's funny if you think. Every time I look at Oswyn, I see exactly Sammael in his youth. As I see Yohn in the twins, as though as the are toddlers, you can easily see they're their father split in too." She chuckled before eating a grape.

"I probably had some granddaughters but you never know with Sam..." She chuckled.
"Now if you will pardon me, my lady..." Lady Eleanor rose from her seat, cleaning her black gown from some food buys her trembling hands had let fall over her lap. "The world of old people will bring you lots of beautiful things, but none of them include the power to control your bladder..." She found herself laughing much more after this joyful evening, maybe it had been the drops of hippocras in the tea, but who cares?!?
